When you upgrade ota software flashed was that of h900 but the board was vs990(verizon) now no way to back to lollipop
Only way is to replace motherboard

mahi, 01 Dec 2017Same with me. I have g4 and v10.. both are dead aftr givng me 1yr of service each. Modla like ... moreit's the processor, the Snapdragon 808. Both the G4 and V10 have it and it gets very hot and causes sluggish performance and eventually, it can even cause premature failure. I had a G4 as an insurance replacement for my G3 (grrrr) and it was shit, but I ditched it within 4 months for a V10 on my AT&T upgrade plan. That was a mistake as the V10 is plagued with the same shitty processor. I went through two replacements (one warranty, one insurance) before I got AT&T to give me a V20 insurance replacement instead. The V20 is A LOT better. I have had it for two months and the battery is still decent (not compared to Samsung, but on well) and when I am not seriously using it, it is very cool, even icy, to the touch. I love it.

The V10 and G4 both have defective processors. The configuration of the Snapdragon 808 in both phones leads to overheating and sluggish performance. Overheating over time leads to premature hardware failure. After I dropped my G3 in the toilet, I got an AT&T/Asurion insurance replacement. It was a G4 :(
My G4 became sluggish and hot within the first 3 months. So much so that the following February, I went out and got a V10 on my upgrade plan. Oh boy, was that a mistake. While the V10 was packed with more features and power than the G5, it had the same damn faulty processor as the G4. I went through two replacement V10's (3 phones), one warranty and one insurance. I cannot stress enough that I DO NOT RECOMMEND this phone.

Fast battery charging 50% in 40min???? I don't know why my V10 (H900) takes so much time which is a big headache to me..😟

I almost cant believe it. How can a company as big as LG makes such **** product... Then look at how they deal with those complaint. And v10 isnt the first nor the last of this problem. How can they just repeat this same mistake. Just wow the ****

U can use anothr few month. Max duration of this fone is 1yr as per my googl ivestigation. cheap technology on mothrboard. It will get ovrheating and short ic problm aftr few mnths

Awsm fone..i must tell its cam is btr thn any of othr 8n the price range. But the thing is u can use it for 1yr max. Aftr that its motherboard will die and ur invested money will wasted. The issue is bootloop And ic overheating. Even if u change the ic u will face the same issue aftr 2mnths. The solution is replacemnt of motherboard. So as a user i can only say that dont waste ur money if u wnt a fone for long duration.

I just bought LG V10 secondhand with the model number h900 which was working pretty good but the only problem I was experiencing is that the fingerprint sometimes seems to stop working that it will not even recognized my finger anymore for some minute, this made me become more interested in updating my phone from android 5.1.1 the latest marshmallow software hoping that the finger print problem might be fix with the new Rom or operating system, but to my surprising after installing the update my my phone started showing up with this signal ( unfortunately com.android VPN have stop unexpectedly) that I couldn't even do anything on my device so I tried the factory reset and I was able to boot back to normal mode again but lost all files, after some few time I notice that my fingerprint and security is not working and crushes any time that I try to open it by saying com.android settings have stop unexpectedly, now I have tried all the possible way to fix this issue by resetting it and rebooting it bot nothing I do seems to work out with me
and am not able to install third patty apps that cannot be found in the play store. I wonder what has happened to my phone cause I never tried to root it our even install any custom Rom on it.
Even I follow the right process of updating phones by going to settings and then about, and then update. I never update it by using any form of way of method, so I wonder why this has happened to my device and now am stuck with a half incomplete hand set because I cant access the security settings and also fingerprint and there seems to be no way out of this problem, Please I dont know much about android so any information that will be giving to me in other to fix this issue will be very much appreciated cause mobile phones in my country is very expensive. I love my device so much and cant afford to lose it and even if I do there is not much in my pocket to afford and new one, feel so sad that this has happened to me, please I need help.
