for whom concern about battery drain in LG V10
my device model H960A same H960 with 32GB. OS ver.v10a
i faced same problem when i bought it but now no problem. to get best thing from it :
1. sitting>apps>all>google play services>clear cashe then manage space>clear all data then restart your device.
2. turn off the battery saver and check on restrict background data .
3. charge with original fast charger or anther original charger ( anther brands ).
after above all :
1. will get estimate time remaining 49+ hr - i think its enough you hole day for you with middle usage .
2. play store services will go down to 10% and below depend your use.................

I personally have the V10 and adore it but the 6p is the Android version of an Iphone. It is google's pride and joy..... It is their creation, therefor it was made to reflect the power of what pure android really is. It is a beautiful and powerful pure android device that will always be first to receive software updates. On the other hand, the V10 is a one of a kind device. there isn't another like it. Regarding build quality and feature set, it is in a league of its own. It also has the best camera ever placed in a phone. Both are amazing phones. I am partial to the V10 but the 6p is equally amazing.

AnonD-473874, 30 Jan 2016battery is too weak i dont think that is realy 3000mAhThe battery drain has nothing to do with the actual battery. The battery on the V10 drains too quickly due to the primary and secondary displays being on simultaneously, which obviously, is something that can not be avoided. It is going to be fixed with the upcoming marshmellow 6.0 update that should be coming to the V10 in February...... depending on your carrier.

If best cameraphone your after then V10 is the main option. Performance wise you can never go wrong with it no lag issues or whatsoever. As far as the battery is concern, if you really are a casual user then v10 can last through out the day and one more thing battery charging is superbly fast so it will eliminate your battery problem at ease.

I am torn between LG V10, Sony Z5, Z5 Premium and Nexus 6P.

The most important factors to me are the following:

1. Picture/camera quality
2. Battery life (it should last at least one day of moderate use)
3. If possible little or no frustrating UI lag

Any recommendations??

Obviously a lot of trolls here for the V10, not that I'm defending the first of the V-series from LG but I have to say it has the best camera on a SMARTPHONE out there to-date. I would have to recommend you actually using the actual phones before just giving out baseless opinions. I got pretty much used to my note 5 till the nexus 6p came out and performance aside, camera quality just got beaten out of the 6p. Then the V10 came along and really delivered, give or take it has its shortcomings in noise reduction but the manual controls can beat most point and shoot cameras (save for DSLRS). Its worth every buck for anyone who considers the V10 over the note5 or 6p.

Amazing phone. LG V10 VS990, verizon wireless. Best I've owned. only phone I've ever seen with manual camera settings (manual focus, iso, shutter speed. 15 seconds night exposures actually look decent.)

Charges very fast, almost 100% in an hour. enough for the whole day at least. Very sturdy, never had any issues with it.
