Georgio, 30 Sep 2016 I had the note 7 for a month till today ; I don't want that phone anymore...I've asked for a ... moreMy New Note7 is actually a fine performer and very stable; I'm very grateful for this too (absent any developments which sees the New Note7s recalled). I usually keep two smartphones for work and I will be getting a V20 since I appreciate my (still) powerful but quirky V10. Good luck when you get your V20; I believe that it'll take a lot of folks by surprise.
Destined to be a sleeper-hit amidst the turmoil surrounding other recent flagship releases. Pre-order while you can!
Anonymous, 28 Sep 2016What is the big deal ? Please look at LG Optimus GJ which released years ago.I think it looks like my old lg p920. I may buy one to update from my lg g3.
For the next lg x phones, one should have an always on display, one should have wireless charging support, one should have a 4k display, one should have a USB type c port, and one should come with the latest snapdragon 821 chip. Or combine them all to create a beast flagship:).
Savor , 30 Sep 2016I had been reconsidering this phone again after some recent reports of other Samsung products ... more I had the note 7 for a month till today ; I don't want that phone anymore...I've asked for a refund ;but I will get the V20. I've experienced lag and really bad signal reception with my note 7 that's why I decided to ask for a refund. The v20 is not the final unit ; its jus a review unit so everybody can see the main features.
Savor , 30 Sep 2016I had been reconsidering this phone again after some recent reports of other Samsung products ... moreYou got completely deceived. In fact, both the LG G5 and V20 have better all-around camera than Note 7.
The Mobile Geeks' camera comparison is FAKE. Their comparison proves that they are biased in favor of Note 7. They took the LG photos and videos with the wide angle camera!! which has inferior quality than the main camera, and they compared those videos and photos that were taken with the wide angle camera to the Note 7's camera. Also they changed the manual settings the way to worsen the quality of LG photos and videos. Moreover, they don't provide the full resolution photos.
So Mobile Geeks is a fraud and scam site.
If you want real comparison, check out the GSMArena's camera comparison. It will prove you that LG phones have better camera.
I had been reconsidering this phone again after some recent reports of other Samsung products exploding like a washing machine. The silver V20 looks really good and I want removable battery. V20 is still a stellar phone but...
I just saw the Mobile Geeks' camera comparison between Note7 v V20 v G5. I don't know if the V20 was a pre-production unit but the photos and videos looked terribly washed out. The video recording in low light was especially damaging to the V20 capabilities. Note7 destroyed it in that area. The sound recording from V20 doesn't sound all that to me. Note7 sounded louder and clearer.
So I guess the best of the best of 2016 for smartphone camera capabilities from front and back, low light, and even sound recording belongs to that exploding Note7. It defeats both iPhone 7+ and V20 pretty handily in several facets. Not just still shots from the rear camera but all-around photos, video/sound recording, etc. Competitors are having a hard time beating Samsung's ISOCELL tech for low light.
I am not trying to hate the V20 here. I prefer LG over Samsung as a brand but I gotta admit defeat. Note7 is the better all-around smartphone of the year. Sorry, LG. Try again next year.
Expect an FM radio with RDS, also require LTPS IPS LCD screen, bigger battery (4000+ mah, non removeable), a robust & fast (deca/octa core) processor.
Maybe it's just me and my skills of finding anything technical about it are worthless. But I am the only one that cannot find either a actual LG Model Number for this phone or a benchmark?
Regardless what region, I can't find one that can be searched online via Google or elsewhere and then used for a search on a benchmark site such as Geekbench. I know many of the phones that have been released are not production models but I would like to see some benchmarks and some actual LG model numbers associated with it. Such as LG-VSXXX. Anybody who knows of one and can confirm it's model number as well as a link to a benchmark site would be greatly appreciated.
WTF?! Won't be able to get it in the UK? What is going on?! I need a new phone and no-one will sell me one!
I've been using mobiles since they came out and not once have I needed to swim with it or take a picture of the inside of a U-bend. I do however like to be able to change the battery from time to time. Been waiting for a month for the delivery of my Note 7 and I can't wait another month now. They should make the new release date the 5th November. Seriously considering this phone now... but will be gutted if it's a pos.
