Anyone know if the Verizon CDMA version of the phone would work properly with an AT&T GSM sim card?
AnonD-599717, 20 Oct 2016Can anyone shed some light on the certification? is it waterproof? Not waterproof. But if you live in japan you can get the smaller screen LG V34 aka Isai Beat. But that one doesnt have a remove-able battery.
AnonD-599717, 20 Oct 2016Can anyone shed some light on the certification? is it waterproof?its not waterproof ( removeable battery ) .. military grading probably just certifies it because of the materials used which is aeronotics space-grade aluminum alloy ..
AnonD-599717, 20 Oct 2016Can anyone shed some light on the certification? is it waterproof? The MIL-STD certification is impact only, I haven't heard a mention of an IP rating, thereby I cannot perceive water resistance. (IP53 usually accounts water resistance, and IP68 is usually water proofed for certain depths)
Can anyone shed some light on the certification? is it waterproof?
v10 is still better with dual sim option and a separate sd card slot
Went to the store yesterday and said version coming to Philippines has dual sim slot with dedicated micro sd slot. Wow!!
Where is the final review???
Final retail unit is already available now
I just got the phone here in Thailand (f800) and I seem to be missing the capture+ button. If anyone has got any ideas please let me know. Many thanks.
I need help, 18 Oct 2016Should i buy the v10 or the g5 or even wait for the v20 the lg g5 and v10 are currently going ... moreIf you can afford V20 then wait for it, otherwise G5 if you want something small or V10 if you want big
Does anyone know if this phone supports 4X4 MIMO or 3 way carrier ag? Also, which LTE bands does it support, the website just says LTE.
Juan, 18 Oct 2016Losing the waterproofing is the price you pay for the removable battery.
I guess some peopl... moreThis. It's just engineering. Removable batteries will always have smaller capacities because they have to be fortified for the average consumer to drop, cram in luggage, and toss around.
Sealed phones can get away with packet batteries with no case because the phone is the case. It may only be 0.5 mm of casing, but that would have allowed another cell layer and probably bumped the battery up 300 mah or more.
Big deal. You'll lose that extra 300 mah or more after 6 months of use anyhow.
LG is the only big phone maker left doing removable batteries. There are plenty of alternatives for those who want a sealed phone, so why complain here?
Anyway, got my preorder in at B&H photo with two extra batteries and an external charger on the way from Amazon. It will be quite the upgrade from my Samsung Note 3!
Is there a FM Radio? have conflicting info from websites, some says it has, some says it don't have.
Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016I cannot believe how many people are not getting this phone due to its battery. Ladies and gen... moreNo. Those 3rd party Zerolemon batteries usually require a case around the phone and adds extreme thickness to it. Unless theyre gonna release a 4000mah battery that the EXACT same size as the original battery and will fit right in with the original cover, than yes we can complain about the poor battery capacity. honestly this phone is $700+ theres no reason why LG shouldnt have put atleast 3500mah in this thing. otherwise its a perfect device. I was truly dissapointed when 1st seen the battery capacity as ive always said the LG V10 would be the perfect phone if it simply had a respectable battery, i dont care about removabilty. I dont want to carry anything that has to do with my phone other than the phone itself.
shashikanth317, 18 Oct 2016Though its not waterproof despite being a flagship killer.. the v20 talks some serious busines... moreLosing the waterproofing is the price you pay for the removable battery.
I guess some people like to go swimming with their phones, i never had a single phone go into the water in the past 20 years ...
Now dead batteries which wont hold a charge? had plenty of those.
