is the protective glass of dual camera fragile?
depends on what you mean by fragile. It is glass and it is decently exposed. It isn't a Faberge egg, like some reviews make it seem. It will take some directed force to break it.
Note that the phone retains its MIL-STD shock rating with this factor. (Which I get is a strange, and vague rating system)
Anonymous, 07 Jan 2017hi is the protective glass of dual camera fragile? Yes it is from the many reviews I have seen!
I owned this phone all of 5 days and I knew I hated it. First the camera was absolutely horrible. All pictures looked like the life was sucked out them. The color was horrible. Images of people looked overly smooth and overly sharpened at the same time. I tried messing with the settings, to no avail. Typing on it was a challenge too, I was forever hitting a wrong button, I tried to backspace and hit the enter key instead. Typing it also was causing my thumbs to hurt, because it weighs more and is wider. I exchanged this POS for an s7. Should have stuck with Samsung. My s4 is still a great phone, just was getting slow.
my Best phone
after my LG G PRO-2..
sold S7 edge , frustrating edge screen functionality & Touchwiz is worthless.
though completely my personal preference,
i feel truly complete with LG UX.
RileyG, 08 Jan 2017It's not. No IP certification at all. Having the removable back makes that difficult to doNo it doesn't the Galaxy S5 had removable back and batteries and was waterresistance to ips65!

Tremendous battery draining after recent update (weighed 730mb);
Don't why LG pushed such updates;
Everything was top notch, working superb;
Now LG messed up my V20;
Noteven getting 2hrs ON SCREEN time.
LG kindly send immediate patch for it.
I own both S7 EDGE and V20. Well here goes the conclusion: both phones are absolute delight.Few features i like better on S7E and few definitely on V20.But if you are a technically sound person. Crazy about professional camera shoot and Complete audiophile, which also includes you bit understand and interested in "physics" behind,:) V20 is the phone for you. Else you can have S7E. One of the most complete phone ever ( ir blaster please neglect).
Yes for example, S7E in front Camera is doing very well. When in V20 front camera detailing is better than S7E ( a minor bit) but background gets more overexposed ,where S7E does perfect justice. Love it!( but not always its like that for V20, actually it depends)
Lg v20 audio in a standard headphone and after settings tweaking. Just WOWWWW!!!!
Well,Both are awesome phones.Choice is yours.Or else , you can have both the phones like me.:)
I love both of them.
AnonD-481508, 28 Dec 2016Stop bootlooping here if you dont have v20 Cant you read the the fact?? So typical Why so many haters??

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2016Now LG V20 half of it's usual price.Where can you get it half the price? A link please.
Hi guys. Trying to compare Oneplus 3t and the Lg v20. Understand the feature difference of ram,storage etc. I am a Lg g2 user and absolutely loved it for the last 3 years specially with the UI and the robust hardware. Has anyone tried both the phone and see which is more user friendly.
Skeksisnv, 03 Jan 2017Ive had this phone for a out a month now. Im a heavy user. I usually use my phone for gaming... moreJust to clarify, the back and battery coming off is actually normal for any phone with removable battery, it actually is safer for it to do so. As it A: releases a good portion of the kinetic energy outward and away from the main parts of the phone. and B: disconnects all power from the phone on impact, thereby reducing chances of electrical discharges, doing more damage.
However, you stated that you use the phone for music but didn't mention the Hi-Fi DAC? How could you? lol
Ive had this phone for a out a month now. Im a heavy user. I usually use my phone for gaming, music, texting and browsing.
Positives: This phone is pretty powerful. Programs typically are snappy to load and do so with ease. In the last my samsing phones tend to heat up with heavy use and thats something that i havent experienced with the v20. The screen is nice but i feel it struggles with the darker colors. White and light greys tends to overwhelm the other colors. Battery life is very decent and the charging is great.
Negatives: The phone is fragile. Maybe ive gotten lucky in the past with other phones but this phone doesnt like keeping its backing on. Amytime it falls, the back and battery come flying off the phone. I suspect its a flaw that clmes with the quick release button. Also the plastic that covers the camera lens is not durable. Mine broke when my phone slipped out of my shirt pocket and hit the ground. After going online to search for a new screen, i found a slew of reviews complaining of the same thing. Ive dropped phones from two story buildings, missed my pockets and dropped them from that height and havent had problems. Like i said, maybe i got lucky with my samsung galaxy phones in the past. My first rodeo with the lg hasnt been as lucky.
