I am unsure what you mean with the software and hardware here. The phone runs android 7.0 nougat with LG's UI over it...however, if you don't like LGs UI...you can easily download a different one...
its a nice phone under 2 conditions:
1) if the battery issue of lg phones is really solved on v20 (i don't think so).
2) if the software and hardware harmony is obviated in this beautiful phone. i think it's better for lg to wait and develop a more harmonic version of android rather than developing just a quick update to a higher version which may have many problems.
Anonymous, 29 Nov 2016You should not have to update.
In fact, everyone should disable and avoid updates on all de... moreWell, I'd choose the lesser evil... not updating to the latest Android build/version also means you will not be getting the latest security patches and among other enhancements (supposedly). Apart from the music player custom EQ, so far I don't see any issues with the latest build.
Anyhow, I just bought Poweramp full version, dirt cheap and works/sounds way much better than the stock LG music player.
need help...which model have the 6gbs ram and fm radio fuctionable?
we are still waiting for GsmArena review on post production device.. please
AnonD-610500, 20 Nov 2016only 3200mah? = Battery Problem!! a QHD with a 5.7" IPS screen the resolution its to much cons... moreJust buy an extra battery from Amazon. I've bought 2 spare batteries and never have to worry about running to a wall charger or carrying a bulky powerbank, just swap out the battery and you've got extra juice. That's the advantage you get from buying a ohien with removable battery comapred to a useless, sealed battery, *cough* Samsung Note 7 *cough*.
AnonD-602706, 29 Nov 2016LG V20 or Mate 9?None, I'd rather have the Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
AnonD-602706, 29 Nov 2016LG V20 or Mate 9?If you want a superb battery, go for the mate 9. But I would rather get the mate 9 pro with a better battery and more features
AnonD-614889, 28 Nov 2016Does anyone know if the H990 (dual sim version) of this phone have LTE band 66?There are two dual sim versions: H990DS and H990N. Neither supports band 66. Only the T-Mobile version, H918, supports band 66 , and that's not dual sim.

LG superfan, 27 Nov 2016Dod you tell your carrier or LG about this problem? Maybe only a few are affected by this prob... moreactually both of them cause when they restart the phone the problem will be solved for short period so I went to LG and they saw the problem and told me they confirm the problem cause I bought it online and the seller will ask LG to confirm, so now I'm waiting for them to do the paper work they came and took the V20 today so I hope they give me new one atleast in 4-5 days, lets hope this one is fine cause there is alot of people out there having the same issue with even replaced device.
Anonymous, 27 Nov 2016I'm planning to buy one, can anybody confirm the difference of sounds quality of units with B&... moreFrom what I have read the B&O tuning hasn't made a massive difference. If anything I think I read that they are actually tuned a little towards bass, and that is about it.
Either way you still get the Quad DAC with manual EQ control, you wont have the B&O branding on the non-tuned ones. I think it is a good bet no matter which you choose.

As some carriers limit wifi calling, and some don't even support wifi calls, they may have disabled the use of the setting on the version they ordered from LG.
My ATT version supports it and functions just fine.
AnonD-519091, 26 Nov 2016This are some sites where you can see the experiences of people who have had bootloop issues o... more"Anyone saying "Troll" works for LG or is paid to say so"
That immediately shows me how illegitimate your argument is. You sound elitist and basically uninformed overall.
Even the post you replied to acknowledged that the bootloop affected some of the phones mentioned...just not enough to warrant official activity. The G4 had enough devices affected to warrant a lawsuit and replacement. Others, the percentage affected wasn't high enough. If all isolated problems were considered major, and warranty replaceable, most mobile companies would go broke. As defective devices are a very real possibility with all brands, normally affecting 1-2% of all sold phones. (Which all of those bootloop issues outside the G4 remained in).
This isn't to mention non-reported cases, which mind you can make up a much higher number, however for any issue on all brands.
Does anyone know if the H990 (dual sim version) of this phone have LTE band 66?
