Note 7, 04 Oct 2016Why would someone trade their note 7 to your s4? Are they high or something? Why would you ask about Note 7 and s4, while we are busy with LG V20???

I'm looking forward for this device , interesting features and capabilities , however as an owner of 3 G4 units and 2 died form the same problem overheating and while charging , I'm getting very skeptic about the LG quality . We had two G4s initially me Black and my wife RED , one died 3 months after purchase then replaced with a complete new unit which also died after about 8 months of operation . I never had flagship phones dying on me like the G4 did . My wife got a Galaxy 7 edge after the G4s died and I'm still to decide what ever I'm going for V20 or something else.

I was going to trade-up my S4 to a Note 7. But now no matter what Samsung does, I will not touch a Samsung phone in the next 12 months. To me, Samsung has hit the battery tech limit. They might have to redesign their future phones to cope with the battery demand of their new phones. For now, I am thinking of going back to a S7 or the new LG V20. I am more like to get a V20 because of changeability. In any case, looking forward to get my hands on them.
A lower resolution or a customizable resolution display could have made it so much better.
As it is, the only big advantage it has over its competition is its removable battery.

It also has the Micro-SD card slot that's expandable to 2-TB (2,000-GB). The LG V20 is the first and only smartphone with a 32-bit Quad DAC Audio, and the first smartphone to ship with Android nougat 7. If I was going to complain about the LG V20, it would be that it's not water or dust resistant.

LG put the back cover removal button on the phone in order for the user to quickly swap out batteries. The LG V10 now has a 6000 maH battery, so I assume LG will do the same thing with the V20. I'm not real sure why LG didn't just release the V20 with the 6000 maH battery. Maybe they test the phone with the higher capacity battery for an extended amount of time to ensure it won't overheat or explode like the Samsung Note 7's have been doing.
Poor battery has destroyed this otherwise great company,
During 2014, i was arguing that LG was making some of the best flagships on the market (LG G2, G3 AND G4 were all great, unique looking and powerhouse phones for their time) and then 2015/2016 came and they just decided to flood the market with the V10, G5 and those cheap K series phones, all with very poor battery compared to the competition.
Samsung on the other hand, understood that more than anything people want long last battery, and they've upped all their devices in 2016. Whereas LG seems to go backwards - none of the phones released in the las 2 years scored over 65h endurance rating here on GSM...whereas Samsung's phones, whether it's J, A or S series tend to score around 90-100.
That's a massive difference and no matter how much innovation and unique features this company brings to the table, it doesn't really matter that much if the phones can barely get through a day.
That's my 2 cents. I'm still hoping they rectify this with the LG G6 and i might reconsider going back to LG. Until then i'll stick with my s7 edge which is still the best phone i've used so far...
