Try searching iphone X bootloop, iphone X screen retention, iphone X overheating. Do the same with Samsung flagships and you'll realize they're there for very few isolated cases but not as bad as misleading publicity would like you to believe.
Does bootloop, screen retention and overheat issue been fixed or still need to be fixed by servicing the phone?
The only drawback after owning it for two weeks is the battery, especially if Hotspot is ON the battery is not enough for a day.
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2017Does the v20 have any bootloop issues? Not a single report about bootloop issue on a V20 has been posted to the gsmarena.
Anonymous, 29 Nov 2017the swappable battery means that the phone can't be charged wirelessly and be waterproof. ... moreMy modem's battery is swappable and is charging wirelessly. Ofc phone with swappable battery can be charge wirelessly depend on the manufacturer allow them to have a wireless charging capability or not. Many sealed battery phone couldn't be wirelessly charged too so they're dependent heavily on the manufaturer's design wether the phone will support wireless charging or not. Optionally, u can just buy a wireless charging stand dock and ur phone can be charge wirelessly.

Rimac , 30 Nov 2017Since seven months ago I'm using the H990DS (Global - Dual SIM) in Barcelona, totally pleased. Yes, I know that this model works, but for me it's expensive, that's why I'm thinking about buying one from China, those models are more affordable for me.

At most, it is a newer, more powerful release but not equivalent in terms of features list and overall versatility. It has just too many downgrades over the V20 in terms of features which are very important to me and to most users if they only tried to spend time customizing them to make life easier. The sealed battery I can only accept if it were significantly larger like my Xiaomi phones: 4100mAh, 4800mAh and 5300mAh, but no, it's a marginal improvement (3300mAh) over the V20's 3200mAh. Between always carrying a spare battery vs carrying a bulky charger (mandatory for my moderate to heavy usage pattern for any phone with less than 4000mAh battery), I'm choosing the spare battery anytime. It's less bulky and you don't need any charging time. When the battery loses capacity with time or goes bad, you can also just throw it away and buy a new one. IR blaster. The lack of it in the V30 is a huge downgrade for me. From the moment I wake up to the moment I sleep, it's controlling everything at my home and workplace. Dedicated sd card slot. I'm always on dual sim and all my purchased HD Google play movies are all downloaded offline (2-3gb/movie) on my sd card. My 20GB offline kiwix encyclopedia is also on sd card. So are my favorite mp3 collection and my personal photos and videos captured by my V20. My work backup files are also on sd card (encrypted) so no need to waste data on cloud backups. A dedicated sd card means no storage problems and instant access to Wikipedia even when I'm out of town photographing waterfalls in an area with no data or cellular signal. The 16:9 screen makes photo feeds in facebook bigger, webpages, news and youtube videos viewing more pleasant. I will stick with the 16:9 screen vs 18:9 or wider anytime, unless I'm left with no choice.
