i have been using this device for a week, its all good except front camera was average and battery life also average. the cons was this device is removable that can be last for another 3 years if u change the battery once every year. i play games a lot and use game booster to boost its performance, it can play all game in very high setting without any worries. i laso experienced using vivo v7, xperia z1, lg g5, j7. i recommend this device for those who value money
And calling V20 owners 'heavily biased'. Look who's talking. It's someone who made a VOW never to buy an LG again because of his bootlooping G4.
Really pointless having an argument with someone who has an axe to grind with LG. Dedicated sd card slot up to 2TB is a CON for him. Long lasting ips display is a CON for him because you replace phones yearly anyway. Talk about true manipulation of facts from someone who had a bootlooping G4 and can't move on from brand hate towards LG. 'Never LG' again, huh?
Palag ka?, 30 Jan 2018...or you can just accept the fact that you lose the conversation.Exactly. No positive comment about the V20 can come from someone who is bitter with the LG brand due to prior bootloop experience with an LG G4.
Front Camera quality is not bad in good lighting, however it does suffer under low light. Under low light it is somewhat grainey, but compared to something like a Note 5 it is a bit better in my personal experience.
Green, 30 Jan 2018Dear all hope all are fine! kindly tell lg v20 front camera quality. I already have lg g5 &... moreIf you are so much into selfies/grouphies photography, get selfie specialist camera phones from Oppo or Vivo with dual front cams which have much higher (16 megapixels to 20megapixels) resolution and f/2.0 aperture. The V20's 5.0 megapixel selfie camera while good enough for social media posts viewed on small screens, is not actually an ideal phone for frequent selfie shooters.
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018My viewpoint is realistic because I have said there are both pros and cons to the v20 while yo... moreWhat? I manipulate the cons and make them pros? 2TB suppport, dedicated sd card is a CON? You mean to say a hybrid sd card slot is as good as a dedicated slot? And you keep telling me about amoled display. Didn't I tell you over and over they look nicer but don't last as long as IPS due to blue pixels in an amoled having shorter life? That's one of the main reasons why Samsuny is going towards microled. You can't accept the trade off you get from amoled technology (shorter life expectancy) and insist it is superior to ips lcd in EVERY single way. Now that is REAL manipulation. You almost have an inordinate desire to put down a 1-year old flagship like it was your holy mission. Why? Because you made the wrong choice between your S7 and the V20 and have buyer's remorse? Why even spend an awful lot of time criticizing the V20 here with invalid arguments when you can promote your supposedly 'better than V20' Galaxy S7 in the Samsung forums?
Dear all hope all are fine! kindly tell lg v20 front camera quality. I already have lg g5 & previously used g4.both selfie camera is the best I have ever seen.I want to buy lg v20. kindly tell front camera quality.Good or bad?
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018So you are saying that real owners of the V20, those who actually own and use their V20's ever... moreMy viewpoint is realistic because I have said there are both pros and cons to the v20 while you have only said it's all pros with no cons which is not very realistic as you bend, twist, and manipulate the cons into being pros. And you're the one who keeps bringing up Samsung, not me.
And enough with the 2TB as card support already, this is a perfect example of you manipulating and over exaggerating the facts. Again you're probably just repeating what the clever salesman told you so he could reduce his stock of unsold v20's by two units. The fact that you bought two means you're probably going to be heavily biased. Would you trust a review of the v20 written by LG? You might as well work for them.
Now you're going to tell me how the screen retention problem and the fact that it's dimmer than a G4 is a good thing...
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018Nope. I just want people to have a realistic expectation of what to expect from this phone. ... moreYou really spend an awful lot of time criticizing the V20 and telling potential buyers they don't need the V20's multitude of features when the main reason why they even bother considering an old 2016 flagship phone from LG is because they want removable batteries, ir blaster, dedicated sd card support and FM radio - all of which are absent in virtually all of the newer flagships.
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018Nope. I just want people to have a realistic expectation of what to expect from this phone. ... moreSo you are saying that real owners of the V20, those who actually own and use their V20's every single day do not have realistic experiences to suggest to potential buyers what to expect from the V20? You mean to say your viewpoint, as one who has never used and owned a single V20 more realistic? You want potential buyers of the V20 believe your adverse viewpoint of the V20 more because it is 'more realistic' than viewpoints from true V20 owners? Why don't you tell potential buyers here why your S7 is a better buy the V20? Just what is in your Samsung that is 'superior' to the V20?
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2018I agree. Owners of newer flagship phones criticizing the V20 only mean one thing: that the V20... moreNope. I just want people to have a realistic expectation of what to expect from this phone. If they buy based on your words alone you will find the disappointed outnumbering the satisfied as you try to paint a perfect picture which no phone is.
When I shop for a phone I want good battery life (I don't care if its removable or sealed it just has to last on one charge) and a great screen and great camera. The v20 ticks the great camera box but the screen is actually less bright than the G4's and the battery life is average at best.
Did you hear LG's mobile division lost money again? I don't think there will be any more updates for the v20. This is the trade off on the deal you got, or the deal you think you got.

Owners of newer flagship phones criticizing the V20 only mean one thing: that the V20 is a phone that is truly still relevant even in 2018; a still very capable competitor even with newer flagships around. Why else would anyone criticize a flagship phone that is more than a year old when there are other older flagship phones that are priced similarly? Is it guilt feelings? buyers remorse? or perceived threat or competition from a phone that has all you could ever ask for in a flagship at unbelievably low price?
The constant need to pour negative opinions on the V20 by users of the beautiful iphones and samsungs seems to reveal a lack of confidence in them.

I suggest using Lux app for auto brightness control. My lux app brightness profile editor settings are as follows: 0 lux : 5% brightness, 6Lx:18%, 30Lx:35%, 300Lx:45%, 1680Lx:84%, 3000Lx:100%. Try these settings. They are very comfortable to the eyes and give you the added benefit of better battery life.

XX.XX, 28 Jan 2018I used my Samsung Note4 for 4 years until the motherboard broke this December. I still plan on... moreI love how you bend *everything* to favor the v20! The V20 is one of the biggest 5.7" screen phone ever built AND it feels great in the hands, too? Wow! Great, now tell me you can easily use the phone one handed and reach the secondary ticker screen.
Ok, now tell me how it's got the best screen and best battery life off a single charge, and you need to say something about how waterproofing is a useless feature because the v20 doesn't have that therefore it's a useless gimmick. You also need to say something about how all future versions of Android won't be as good as nougat since you won't be getting anymore updates.
Rimac , 28 Jan 2018Considering the new airs of good sense that for the consumers blow in LG, it is very possible ... moreROTFL they will never launch a "V20 SE" unless they want to lose more money. The styling and design didn't sell phones in 2016 and it for sure won't sell in 2018.
