My Favorite Wife's Sammy Note died. Going for the Note 7, but that went south. Got her the V20. She's so very happy with this SmartPhone. It does just about anything and more that you would want any Phone to do. The Pics, are the very best. Take in almost total darkness and...amazing the quality of the Pics is fantastic. Used in daylight, the quality is even better. Can't say enough how great the Camera is, it's just that good. We got her the USA Unlocked version of the V20. Bloatware, just isn't there. Oh, yes Google, LG and others try to "stick-it" to the Phone, but she laughs and trashes them out ! She'll say "watch this" and boom, the Bloatware is gone! Using the SD Card is simple with App or Pic moves done right. It's so amazing to see Sammy and other phone makers stick to Android 6, while LG gave us Android 7.0. The diff's of the two OS's is really noticed with the various functions of the V20. The Phone calling and receiving quality is just the best. We've used so many Sammy phones where the phone calling/receiving quality has been trash when compared to the V20. I just can't praise it enough, so I'll do even better. Get on your Favorite Machine of use and get you a LG V20, get one for the special someone/thing in your life, too! Tell them that "Pop sent me!" You'll be glad that you did !
john1102, 05 Jan 2017any news on a uk release?I bought mine in eBay dual SIM. But doesn't have in plug.but it doesn't matter.love it
Sheygx, 13 Jan 2017Maybe you need to clean the camera lensBrand new. Lens is perfectly clean. Pics are beyond awful. We're talking similar to the first camera phones circa ~2000-2001, probably even worse honestly. I am stunned by how bad the pics are, they're completely worthless.
I purchase v20 from Croma. At 55000. Within 15 days. Charging problem.and heating problem has arises. Not god. Bad quality. Replacement refuse. 4 days without mobile. Service Center has order parts
I have been using LG G2 for the last 3 years. Now when I decided to change my phone, I kinda thought of shifting to IOS..bought IPhone 6S Plus, and abandoned it after 1 month, just to go back for LG V20..and frankly, I don't regret doing that...LG V20 is a complete phone...be its ease of use, it's UI, Cameras, Sound quality, display resolution, everything is top notch...I mean, i just fear, I may never be able to shift to any other brand of smartphones...LG is too good..only thing that I miss in LG V20 is back volume buttons...they were too convenient...
Can someone explain what is going on with the camera on this phone? It has generated the worst photographs I've ever seen on a smartphone. I'm getting photographs that are worse than on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Faces look blurry and when you zoom the picture in people's faces are completely a blur and a mess. Most facial photos look like claymation faces . What is going on? Every review I read about this phone said it had a great camera. Some reviews talked about how the iPhone or the Galaxy S7 had slightly better cameras but I expected this to at least be able to top my Galaxy S3 for crying out loud!

Ajoy, 10 Jan 2017I purchased the LG-V20 the first day it hit T-Mobile at the end of November. I liked it at fir... moreSorry to hear your troubles...I have had mine from day one as well, but from AT&T...I haven't had any of the issues mentioned. I personally love the device. Note that the DAC isn't going to be used to its potential unless you have a high impedance device to connect it to, or can fool it into high power mode (that is one of it's major benefits is the ability to fully drive more high end audiophile devices, not only sound quality)
I purchased the LG-V20 the first day it hit T-Mobile at the end of November. I liked it at first. Then it started over heating terribly. To the point where it was hard to hold in my hand. The screen became unresponsive at times, I couldn't turn it off unless I took out the battery, there were issues with the sound. I couldn't hear conversations well and they couldn't hear me. My text were messing up. You name it! The only thing that it didn't do was blow up! I took it back after having it for 30 days and they gave me a new one. They even transfered my information and set it up again as they did the first one. After having the brand new, out the box replacement phone for almost a month it started having the same problems. I was livid!! With the price of this phone I didn't want to ever have any problems!! I haven't found the sound to be as good as the Samsung Note 4 that I traded for this crap. ...Which I would gladly go back to. So now I'm on my third V20. It has already started overheating and freezing. I told the agent at T-Mobile that if this phone gave me problems I want to switch without any charges to me to a totally different model phone. ...You know, they are getting these phones from other countries. Perhaps they are putting something in the phones when they assemble them. Hey, you never know!
Awar, 09 Jan 2017No it doesn't the Galaxy S5 had removable back and batteries and was waterresistance to ips65!Just because they did it on the S5, doesn't mean it was easy to do. Possible, sure but not easy.

is the protective glass of dual camera fragile?
depends on what you mean by fragile. It is glass and it is decently exposed. It isn't a Faberge egg, like some reviews make it seem. It will take some directed force to break it.
Note that the phone retains its MIL-STD shock rating with this factor. (Which I get is a strange, and vague rating system)
Anonymous, 07 Jan 2017hi is the protective glass of dual camera fragile? Yes it is from the many reviews I have seen!
I owned this phone all of 5 days and I knew I hated it. First the camera was absolutely horrible. All pictures looked like the life was sucked out them. The color was horrible. Images of people looked overly smooth and overly sharpened at the same time. I tried messing with the settings, to no avail. Typing on it was a challenge too, I was forever hitting a wrong button, I tried to backspace and hit the enter key instead. Typing it also was causing my thumbs to hurt, because it weighs more and is wider. I exchanged this POS for an s7. Should have stuck with Samsung. My s4 is still a great phone, just was getting slow.
my Best phone
after my LG G PRO-2..
sold S7 edge , frustrating edge screen functionality & Touchwiz is worthless.
though completely my personal preference,
i feel truly complete with LG UX.
RileyG, 08 Jan 2017It's not. No IP certification at all. Having the removable back makes that difficult to doNo it doesn't the Galaxy S5 had removable back and batteries and was waterresistance to ips65!
