Foolish as Sammy working LG small market still lazy k updates. See One plus 3T is at par with google. Updated to 7.1.1 way back.
All we get real help from amongst ourselves. When ever I restart my brightness once goes to full, even its Auto, and set to below 50%.have to adjust it everytime. Security update is stuck on Dec 16. Which happened lack week. Screen resolution not being smiled has its demerits. Overhaul it's still better k many ways than G6.

I have the same issue about updating the software of my V20. Even if i have excellent wifi connection i tried doing some basic trouble shooting but still the problem is going on. I went back to the lg shop where i bought my v20 and asked help unfortunately they dont know the reason why the phone is not updating its software . luckily i read a review about v20 about this issue. Performing MasterReset on the phone solves the problem but before doing that make sure to backup ur contacts and some important files to ur SD card.

I charge every night and it is OK. If I could skip OIS, I would go for the Lenovo P2 (endurance champion).
In fact I only use B&O H3 and GRADO SR60i which are around 32 Ohm and can be driven with anything else. I also connect my phone to an amplifier (Bryston B60R) and 1V output of V20 is better to obtain high volumes easily. Actually I only use Spotify at highest quality nowadays.
LG makes nonsensely bundled marketing here and I wait for these bundles to end and price to drop (who needs the DAC of G5 with V20? But LG bundles it. Also I already have an H3 (bought it for 40-USD due to being abundant in the market).
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2017Thank you for the nice comments. I have an eye on V20 as well. What are your thoughts?
-Batte... moreI know you were looking for N3M3ISIS, but ill give my 2 cents too for you.
-Battery life is average at best, Don't expect multi-day use on 1 stock battery, though it is interchangeable, and LG does have offers with spare batteries included.
-LG helped pioneer dual/multi window multitasking in android, it works, and It works quite well, especially if you use the second screen.
-I have tested the H3 buds in multiple devices, and can say the V20 wins in sheer clarity and drive, the buds are capable, however you will get a huge boost in audio quality when you hook in a higher quality set of headphones, or a decently robust sound system, I have tested the V20 on Sennheiser HD598s and 598Cs, V-Moda LP2's and M-100s (these don't set off the high power mode of the DAC, but there are ways of "fooling" it to). With the V20 I don't have a need to have an external DAC to boost quality and clarity, it drives everything very well.

-Battery life is a concern but what do you think when compared to Note series?
-Have you used multitasking? What do you think compared to Samsung?
-I have a H3 earphone as well? Have you compared the audio quality of V20+H3 against another phone+H3? H3 is an excellent earphone by the way
I've had my LG V20 since late October, have had absolutely NO problems with it. I've read about the camera(s) being the weak spot, but to be honest I was more interested in its four DACs. Audio playback/recording quality is simply outstanding, and engaging the audio processing is like night and day for casual listening.
....plus, I was able to get free B&O H3 earbuds from LG for the phone purchase (at the time they were like $150 on Amazon)
I have a TON of apps installed, but am able to keep everything nicely organized into various folders on the home page.
I haven't dropped it yet, so I can't comment on its toughness. The Gorilla glass DOES appear to be a bit thicker than normal, but that may be just the appearance.
I find the second screen to be quite useful, one of those "didn't know I needed it til I had it" folks.
I was a victim of the Note 7 recall, so this was kind of an impulse purchase. I couldn't be happier. The only thing I missed from the Note 7 was the hidden stylus, but the V20's audio superiority quickly made me forget about it....
I HIGHLY recommend this phone.
I'm an avid Samsung fan..

Long lasting battery anyway.
But I can't afford excuses. I have 2 at the ready.
I hope, really hope LG can continue this model.
I hardly never post.
But there's no excuses in business..
My LG V20? Is a warrior!

LG has always been caught n problems, and V20 64-4. Has exceptional performance. But marketing and after sales have left it in jeopardy. Price is always related to marketing than ever dry year it's a headache.
