Wck, 01 Mar 2017Can anyone confirm lg v20 supports OTG? Any type-C OTG cable in market will work?the type-c is universal.....with right apps u can conect mouse as well
I'm considering buying a V20, my only issue is the power button/finger print scanner on the back. I work in an office and having my phone on the desk would make it difficult to wake the screen if the button is on the back.
Does the V20 have double tap to wake or with the secondary display, can that be left on or viewed without removing the phone from a desk?
Can anyone confirm lg v20 supports OTG? Any type-C OTG cable in market will work?
Does this have IR for remote control?
and the FM, which regions? Does that mean countries?
AnonD-648067, 26 Feb 2017Not at all on mine.It is minor, it is far less than the V10 had.

When it gets worse just pull down the notication menu at any time and you will see your time, network signal and wifi icons being retained/temporarily burned in.
AnonD-540746, 20 Feb 2017V20 is better in Design and If u like big screens then go for it.For me, the user-replaceable battery (you can also get double- and triple-capacity batteries but they do of course add size and weight) is mandatory, as is the microSD card slot that holds up to 2TB cards (I have a 256GB in mine, which is the largest I have seen). I like the DACs and even the radio (which is enabled for AT&T subscribers). All in all I love my V20 and expect to have it forever (and I will never get rid of my G4 which works great on wi-fi).

I use the Hyperion 2X battery and back routinely, and have the ZeroLemon 3X battery and back for when very long run time is essential. These both need a belt holster.
Anonymous, 26 Feb 2017My G4 screen did the exact same thing the worse part is it will get worse over time. What does Image Retention look like.
My new phone haven't used yet for talking except some recent pet photos I saw colorful LONG LINE across the screen so I took photo of the LV20 SCREEN with my other Galaxy7. So have proof to show them. Is that what you call image retention? Thx

The screens backlight remains on when the phone is locked to display the time and date, etc.
Anyone received a software update around 716mb,just received one downloaded and installed.
Anonymous, 15 Feb 2017I haven't seen any on mine. only a tiny bit off of the secondary, but overall unnoticeable.I think those lights are the notification lights, if you're talkin about the front red light or what, it's the notif. you received so better slide your phone down, and clear the notification bar! that's it!

Its release timeframe was in a tumultuous period, (the Note 7 debacle, as well as Google's shift to premium grade phones with the pixels), it had potential to take many sales from Samsung, thereby people found and nitpicked as much as they possibly could (bootloop, shattergate, are the main 2 "issues" to which neither have became an issue outside of user error or device defect). many of the negative comments are from people who haven't even touched the device.
I will say some negatives about it, the image processing is ok at best (the images come out great, just a bit smudgy if you zoom in)...the sensor is capable of so much more, (shooting RAW and processing yourself is ideal). The same really goes for video recording, its alright...the sound capture is incredible (no popping!) but how the phone captures and processes is bad.
The quad DAC is great, especially when you get it in high power mode.
Battery is decent, gets me a day on regular use. Heavy use...id advise a spare or a bigger capacity (if available).
Interface is clean, no complaints. LG really drew back.
and this is coming from a user that had 2 G4s bootloop...
This phone, LG V20, have such a glowing review on this site yet there's so many bad comments on this phone out there. Why is that?
iphone 7 plus or v20 ?
I mainly use my phone for taking pictures talking and viber/facebook/messaging

So that means the blacks look more backlit and less inky?
