While those with sealed batteries have to live with degradation over time/bad cells/etc, and replace the entire phone simply for a new battery, simply having a removable one completely alleviates all of those issues. You can literally, if you are so inclined, purchase a stronger battery, from say, zerolemon, and bam...all your woes are diminished. You defeat your own argument in that case
As for the screen, LGs LCDs, while yes are slightly lower end than OLEDs, still produce vibrant images (at least from my perspective). We cant rely on pictures on the internet, simply due to any compression errors, as well as the monitor we are using could display the image differently from what the actual phone display does. (Especially if it is a picture of the phone via another camera...that is just stupid to trust.)
Also I see people by phablets, simply for features...in general...extra features than what can fit in a normal sized smartphone. Which LG provides in spades, as well as Samsung, just in different aspects. The least featured phablet would be the iPhone 7 Plus in this case, as it does not provide a 3.5mm jack, a pen, IR Blaster, MIL-STD shock protection, etc. (Software side is not based in the phone but in the OS, so it would not be fair to compare the hardware, based on software features.)

Find out today's test gsmarena left hearing result -57DB that weak for headphones of O & B
LG V20 (headphones attached) -57.5
the G5 Gives a much better quality - 72 DB
LG G5 (B&O)(headphones) -72.1
Something here is not good
How to get to - 72 DB with v20 ?
Looking good. Love the "removable battery" (attention: Samsung!!). Missing only IP67 as far as I'm concerned and price is not clear but should be/must be competitive or die.
The hell with Lg? Why the battery is always suck? Had G2 and using G4 now. Will not buy another Lg phone until they work on their battery capacity!
blindedbyLOVE, 25 Sep 2016I'm currently using LG G5 . it works smooth and no bootloopHow's the screen?
LG superfan, 19 Sep 2016V20, G5, S7 or Note7 none will disappoint btw whats your current phoneI'm currently using LG G5 . it works smooth and no bootloop
Consumers also do buy phablets because of bigger, better battery life and a bigger, nicer display. What makes you think many people opted for the iPhone 7 Plus over 7? It wasn't solely on dual cameras and more RAM. People also buy phablets for longer battery life and a beautiful, big display to look at.
LG is defeating a couple of purposes of buying a phablet. They haven't offered a great display and battery life in THREE YEARS! And this when flagships were still mid-sized. LG peaked with the G2 which ironically didn't have a removable battery and microSD slot. Ever since the G3, both battery life and display has constantly taken a hit.
The best flagship WITH a removable battery suffers from poor endurance again. What a shame. Kinda defeats the purpose of removable battery, ya think? Then the display which tends to be the biggest battery drainer is mediocre and plagued with light bleeding and color inaccuracies. LG blew it again. Not to mention the release of this phone by not capitalizing on the Note7 recall.
I have never been a big Samsung fan. But by hating them for so long, I was fooled by pretenders like HTC and LG thinking the alternative brands were cooler and better. I was wrong. Samsung is the true king and reason why they are popular. They are best in class in several hardware aspects. Avoid the HTC 10 and LG V20 unless you enjoy inferior phones where their resell takes a nosedive.
In 2-3 years, you will look back at 2016 and say the Note7 or S7 edge was the best smartphone of that year. The HTC and LG were just also-rans just like the M8, M9, 10, G4, V10, G5, and V20 were in their respective years. Also-rans. Don't get cute. Apple or Samsung has had the best smartphone of the year consistently throughout this decade.
Max, 22 Sep 2016It just me or the frontal part of this device has a rather uncanny resemblance with BlackBerry Z10.BB Z10 is the best phone of smartphone history
