LG V20 is the best, but image retention issue cannot fix it even changed or replaced new LCD image retention not fix,
The secondary display is practic. If you are for example watching YouTube and have a notification, go there and back again without "point" lost.
Bought this device....and its worl like a dream...if u know how to use it....battery is only concern but only if u have lot of apps installed.(that's me but no regret bcoz i know what is happening with lot of apps....not device's fault...)... Minimal the apps greater the battery life...i already ordered a spare battery ... Of same sizer...
Although 6600 mah and 10000 mah batteries are also available in market.... Will buy one of them in near future...
V20 owners can think about it bcoz they can..
We have the freedom of spare battery option...
And everything else in this device is just GREAT.... Belive me...i hv tried almost all of popular companies phones...
And this device is way better in most of the aspects than the others.......
This LG V20 was cheap because blankly.... It is cheap! I have had it for all of 13 days, have missed every call I have received pretty much on it. I guess some phones have a problem with data and service working against each other. Think the phone people can help out though? Psh... Heck no! That would be too easy. Its your sim card they say... Yea, I dont think so, my samsung worked like magic... How about you let me use it on your network!!!
Phone maybe big, and easy to read for ppl with bad eyesight like myself. But 100% NOT WORTH THE HASSLE IT IS GIVING ME. I get messsges every second saying my messages arent sending, to try again. Um, I did not buy a new phone for this!!! Samsung.... I'm coming back to you!! This phone was not worth any of the time i wasted on it!!!
Features like IR blaster, FM radio, removable battery and even NFC, aren't interesting to everybody.
But an almost pro audio recording. State of the art video recording. HI-FI QUAD DAC . . . and more, are appreciated by discerning people.

Even more irrelevant because following your line of thoughts the better phone is the most sold one.
Easy for you to choose, just check the sales data and buy the phone that sold the most.
And judging phones (or anything really) by the looks of them, everyone aside from you knows that looks are a subjective thing; everyone likes different phones regarding looks. And I'm not defending the V20 by any means, I personally like it. I like the look of the S8 more, but that was too expensive for me. I didn't like how the G6 looks, so I got the V20.
Rimac , 08 Jun 2017According your opinion, what is the item more important ? Specs or external apparence ? I want specs and looks.
I'm also disappointed, I actually really wanted to buy this phone but just couldn't bring myself to it because I was happy with everything except how it looks. It's a deal breaker. You want to sell ugly clothes for 1/2 price that wear as well (or even better) than good looking clothes I'm still not buying your ugly clothes.
Also, I was only considering this phone because of the price (read: cheap). If it cost as much as a equivalent Samsung then it's a no-brainer decision and get the Samsung.

Please tell me your clever way of manipulating the data to suggest they sold more v20's. The G4 was a widely more successful phone for LG than the v20. The v20 launched and was forgotten very fast. In developed countries a lot of people only got one because they had to give back their Note 7.

You are clever sir.

I agree the v20 is a better phone (mostly because its newer) but its a really fugly looking phone, too.
Will it be crazy to replace both of my current phones with two LG V20?
Does it overheats? Anyone had any issue with this model?

My thoughts on the V20:
- little bit taller, same width, thinner than a G4 (for me, it's same easily pocketed)
- better build quality (metal is better than plastic, duh)
- better durability (...is not MIL-STD-810G certified for nothing)
- better display (nice colors, much brighter than the G4, better view in sunlight) + not to mention the always on secondary display, that's a huge plus
- better battery life than a G4
- charges faster than a G4
- better camera than a G4 (+ the addition of the wide angle rear + wide angle front camera to play with)
- better system / firmware than the G4 (nougat is better than marshmallow, duh again...)
- better processor + gpu, the V20 IS faster than a G4, yes noticeably faster
- more RAM (4 gigs vs 3 gigs)
- more storage space (64 gigs vs 32 gigs)
- better audio on the V20 (the G4 sounded exactly like a cheap $100 phone, terrible)
These are facts from using both.

I don't understand the purpose of your message.
Brendan, 02 Jun 2017I just wanted to ask anyone who knows a bit about the LG V20 android phone. I have a LG G4 and... moreLG v20 is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. It's not compatible with a lot of my other devices, to include my fitbit. I don't get 75% of the texts that people send me and have had this issue since day 1 and it's been months and. We have tried a bunch of things to fix it. It just can't be fixed without me dropping a bunch of money on a different kind of phone so now I am stuck with it. Battery life sucks if you want to record video or listen to music. The video quality is good but don't plan on taking a good photo if you want to get a clear photo of art you made or text in a book, this phone wont do it. The phone I had before the LG G4 was awesome. 10 times better than the V20. I read a bunch on the V20 and it seemed like it would be a great phone but it's total crap. It's been nothing but aggrivating since I got it.

The phone is great, however back on New Years Eve, whenever I went to use the rear facing camera, there was a vibration internally by the camera causing the camera to be unable to focus. I have been researching since then and finally decided on the LG V20. I've been to the store multiple times to spend time getting familiar with it. So many different reviews both good and bad. You never really know if an issue someone has would be true for you because there are different carriers, geographic locations and user types. So here is my info - I am staying in Central NJ and using Verizon as my carrier. I love listening to music and using the phone to take pictures when I am out and about. I typically, do not play games with the exception of solitaire (I know, I know). So does anyone including this former HTC One M8 user have an opinion on whether or not I will love this phone as I believe I would? I am not a business user BTW.
