Since the early days of May I'm a pleased user of a V20. It has features that all in a single device make it únic, like IR blaster, FM radio, NFC and removable battery. Many can said that if only I found that the speaker sounds dull is for a lack of exigence in order to search more cons, but I feel it like that.

AnonD-251889, 04 Jul 2017Hey!
How is the battery life on the S7 with Nougat, as well as general performance? It's the SD820 S7e which is the laggier one and I was on MM and N. It lagged on both. Battery life is very good. I think it is on par with my V20. If you watch movies, S7 is the best for battery life but about the same with all my other phones.
My main qualms is lag, glass-rear which smudges like crazy easily since I don't put any screen protectors, and the palm rejection when typing. The speaker is ok. It sometimes won't do anything or act weird like the home button won't respond.
I know it was awarded best smartphone of 2016 but I am not a fan. Nice aesthetics, nice screen, water-resist, and good camera. But it annoys me more than my iPhone SE. I know people hate LG but the G5 and V20 are my favorites to type, browse, and use as the media player.

A change for planned obsolescence is something like sealed batteries, which don't really add any features, or enhance a device in really a fully recognizable way, but mostly ensure device obsolescence, or failure within a given time period.
Not USB-C...USB-C actually has technological advancements in pin-outs, hardware support, USB version support (3.1 and future), external display support (via DisplayPort, HDMI, or DVI recognized pins)...audio out support, Transfer capabilities. etc....It also does not make a device fail in a given time period.
MicroUSB is just becoming TECHNOLOGICALLY Obsolete. Which is a completely normal occurrence in any tech.

Pls I read somewhere and have shops talking of LG v20 128gb rom and 6gb ram. Does this variant exist?
When are we getting 7.1.2. I feel like lg is dropping the ball on updates here. V20 is like their flagship (i know technically its the g series, but the v series were always better)
Without any Pomp & Show it's been a Hit, keep it up, in spite of no country wide service centres, V 30 should be kept at under 400$. Does not guarantee another buster, normally we don't see in a Tow!

How is the battery life on the S7 with Nougat, as well as general performance?
[deleted post]Get the V20 without hesitation. I own both and typing on the S7 edge's curved display will annoy you. V20 could be the best phone I ever owned. Higher than the G5 because it doesn't suffer image retention. Longer battery life. Removable battery that my Pixel, S7 edge, and iPhone SE lacks. Don't believe the hype with the S7 edge. Most people are getting paid by Samsung to give it rave reviews.
I'm starting to prefer my V20 over all my other phones. My G5 suffers from bad image retention. The ghosting effect is so apparent since I use a grayish lockscreen/homescreen. It goes away sometimes and then returns. Annoying af!
My V20 is using this black theme. It looks stealth since the phone is titan grey (looks more like the matte black iPhone 7 Plus). Again, just my go-to phone for everything including taking photos and media player. I generally watch Silicon Valley Season 4 on it with no qualms. And typing is a breeze. I try typing on my iPhone SE and it just seems pathetic. Only used that for light browsing.
V20 might be my new #1. Ability to lower camera resolution, longer battery life and far better screen without image retention which my G5 suffers from badly as of late. Only issue is speaker is a little softer and bulky. But for a phablet lover, it is close to the perfect Android phablet there is especially if the V30 goes all glass and removable battery is gone for good.
I am a heavy phone user who plays games like Clash Royale and Clash of Clans, does a lot of web browsing, both on data and on Wifi, frequently uses Snapchat and Instagram, and watches Youtube videos. My LG V10 recently died out on me, with the Wifi not working, extensive overheating, and a waist high drop that killed the digitizer. Looking for a replacement phone that has good battery life for a power user. Should I get the S7 Edge or the LG V20. Thanks in advance.
