Alisalfie, 15 Dec 2017Bought a V30+. Thoughts after 1 month.
Amazing battery life. 5 to 7 hours on scree... moreI don't know man... I have been using V30+ for 20 days now.
I absolutely love the display. I have been a Samsung Notes users for years but i see no different in V30+ display. It is an awesome huge display phone.
Rear ultra wide angle camera is just plain awesome. I find that i use the ultra wide angle camera more than the main normal angle camera.
Maybe both rear camera are not as good as pixel 2 or iphone X. But i find them really good enough even for low light shot. I mean i take my photos and post them in social media page and i can't tell if there is any huge differences.
If i really want to capture some great shots with freaking lots of details in low light, i would rather shoot it with my Canon g7x camera. Non of the phones mentioned can come close to my g7x anyway.
Audio wise, the speaker is really loud and clear although it is single speaker.
If i really want to listen to some great music, i would plug in a nice pair of headphone (B&O H3 free gift from LG). If i am at home, i can connect it with my Creative iRoar 2. Which sounded many time more superior than any phones stereo speaker out there.
128GB storage with sim card slot is pure ecstasy for me.
The only complain i have about the phone is... the way you select file in gallery. I simply cannot get a grasp on how you select files to move/copy/share.
In conclusion, this is the best phones i have so far...
I dont see any colour shifting that distracting my view as rumoured. Its pretty gorgeous p oled screen.
Hand on it yesterday pretty a solid and compact 6 inch phone. Hope Lg released a white or gold front panel v30....like g6
Whats the pros n cons after the tmobile updates? Im afraid to update. Thanks

do not buy apple computer. pc computer is better for me.
vinish shetty, 17 Dec 2017what about the fingerprint scanner is it the same one on the v30 or is it ceramicNot sure Vinish,
It works even better than the one on the V20 though, in that the fingerprint unlock is even quicker. The placement of the button is perfect... Samsung take note... And with the iPhone X good luck finding the fingerprint sensor on that device.... LOLLL
Been using it for 1 month already and damn this phone is buggy although not showstoppers. Still, I've been using Galaxy Note 2 and 4 for the last 5 years and I don't recall noticing a single bug. 1) Mini-view doesn't work, 2) Anyone saying "OK Google" at lockscreen bypasses all login security making fingerprint / voice / face / pattern useless. 3) Smart Settings not so smart if you live in tall buildings, to name a few. Nonetheless, I still love it...especially the easily accessible and super fast fingerprint sensor. My bank and other information sensitive apps all use fingerprint for authentication. Super convenient.
blr123, 14 Dec 2017I am confused between I phone x and LG V30+. My priorities are display quality, audio quality... moreDisplay- iPhone X
iPhone has a brilliant display although that notch is weird. I saw the V30 2 days ago and it's much better than the G6 display but not as vibrant as the Samsung AMOLED, you can see that when you reduce brightness to 50%
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2017OnePlus 5T is still better choice. How?
LG V30...I see it...I hear it...I feel it...u r 'gatdame' fone for me...I thing, this world is mind.....pls don't play to other fone.....that's is better for ur 'gatdame' life style...
Hi all I have owned the LG v30+ for a little while now and can share my thoughts.
- Excellent Audio. Nothing else comes close. The ability to switch to high impedance mode on 50+ ohm headphones shows off the audio prowess of the phone
- Smooth and fast in day to say use
- Beautiful build quality
- 6" screen is nice (with caveat.. See below)
- Screen not best compared to competition, having said that still very nice and better my design than the crappy notched panel of the iPhone X... Would take the v30 over that any day... Watch a movie in full screen... Without a notch over the movie..
- Rear camera is ok, the V20 was better. (distortion on wide lens has been improved though)
- Selfie camera not the good... Good enough for most I'd say though
- Great phone. If your an Audiophile just get it
- If you want good value for your money I think the V20 is the better buy
blr123, 14 Dec 2017Thanks a ton FeederEater. Its very useful info. One last question. Here in India LGV30+ 128 G... moreBetter not go for iPhone x, itÂ’s really absurdly priced for what you get, and it lacks too many basic features. V30 is the better option, or V30+ If available.
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2017Congratulations.What can you tell us about the battery life , and how much screen on time do y... moreBought a V30+. Thoughts after 1 month.
Amazing battery life. 5 to 7 hours on screen time depending on usage. Always on auto brightness super legible display. Never charged my phone before go to bed. Li-Po batteries are back after 5 years and the G2. Thanks Lg for waking up!
Slick beautiful design
Realy fast in everyday use.
Big storage 128gb
Super good quality videos in good light.
Call quality, sound(on headphones) and features pack
For a 1200$ AUD
Display not on par with Samsung's or iPhones. (Strong Bluish tint and color swifting if you not looking straight to the screen)
Max auto brightness doesn't kick in always (as with previous lg phones I had.) So you left with only 400nits when you mostly need it!
Cameras stills have not great resolved detail.
Not a good low light performer(maybe super tiny small pixels to blame for?)
Selfie cam is disappointing..for flagship 2017. Its just good enough in very good light.
Not worth it the price tag...s8+ other competition is cheaper in all gray importers and doesn't suffer from this cons.
If you find it cheaper than S8 buy it(will be there in a few months, lg mobiles go down to prices really quick after launch).
For the retail price and for what it has been advertised as from LG it is just coming short.
Poor LG I ve bought 5 of your phones so far and only G2 stood on its hype at its time. Continuously unfinished rushed overpriced flagships...when you advertised the best camera the best this and that you better be! Customers are not stupid and that the reason that your mpbile devision is sinking! Think about
If this devices was launched 20% cheaper than rivals top
flagships it would be a deal.
LG v30 plus seems to be a logical choice but I went with Note 8 due to bigger screen, S Pen plus 6GB RAM. But V30+ is way cheaper than Note 8 even if we compare the features with value for money. I never used LG mobiles before and it's associated software challenges etc....but had they introduced little earlier I might have very well gotten it.
