sutaffu, 31 Aug 2017wich company make high-end smartphones with removable battery? this reason is stupidConsidering this page offers a detailed list of specifications you can look for in a phone I suggest you stop being lazy and go look for yourself.
sponger bob, 31 Aug 2017Lg haters trolling hereeeSome people really just don't understand do they, ROFL.
sutaffu, 31 Aug 2017wich company make high-end smartphones with removable battery? this reason is stupidNext to none, why do you need a user accessible battery?
asinghrawat4, 31 Aug 2017why camera only 5 mpBecause their target demographic doesn't care about 'selfies'
Symbian Rocks, 31 Aug 2017Agreed. But what is the logic for containing IR blaster will not considered as worlds best product? From that list, only two of them use snapdragon 835, Xiami Mi 6 and ZTE Nubia Z17, so that two phones make great combination about hardware :-)
Design looks great, specs to match. Now to wait for preorder.
If you want to complain about the size of the secondary camera than buy something that specifically targets that demographic rather than bagging a company for not appealing to that crowd. One of the best rear camera's in the current market but lets write negative feedback because 'I can't capture the extra detail of the pimples on my face while I'm drunk in the club'.
Some people........ *shakes head and walks away*
This wont sell to large number of girls who loves selfies... Is LG drunk??!!
Btw its a great design, much better than the elongated note 8.....
asinghrawat4, 31 Aug 2017why camera only 5 mpNever mind about the 5MP camera. That is a secondary camera.
Their primery camera is a "Dual 16 MP (f/1.6, OIS, 3-axis, laser & phase detection autofocus) + 13 MP (f/1.9, no AF), LED flash"
I have seen LG's camera quality on the G6 and it is amazing.
Plus is offers 4K video recording!
dunni, 31 Aug 2017No removeable battery in the G6 or V30. OK, I guess it's time to stop caring about LG.wich company make high-end smartphones with removable battery? this reason is stupid
Anonymous, 31 Aug 2017IR blaster? - Do you live in the 1990s, what do you need a IR blaster for these days. If you h... moreI did live in the 1990's and Infrared sensors are still in use on most HDTV's sold today. The IR blaster is actually an extension of how I am fairly modern. I turn on the TV, pull up Netflix or whatever on my phone, and cast it to my chromecast all from my phone. Separate remotes for each device is the real outdated solution. Even a universal remote is just one more thing to keep track of. Should I carry the universal remote around my house with me?
In response to your removable battery comment. I do carry around a replacement battery. It has come in handy more times than I can count on trips and busy days. Carrying around some portable charger I still have to draw charge from when I want to be using my phone is not better.
6GB of Ram and a better front facing camera and I am in LOVE. I can live without an IR balster and a removable battery..
no more removable battery, no more ir blaster, no more fm radio? NO MORE LG for me then. We had a nice time together but now its over.
No removeable battery in the G6 or V30. OK, I guess it's time to stop caring about LG.
No IR blaster. No fm radio. Very disappointing. It would be a good phone with them
Symbian Rocks, 31 Aug 2017Agreed. But what is the logic for containing IR blaster will not considered as worlds best product?to put in simple terms...although it will be not...IR is a thing of the past; it had its days but now we get devices which can be "voice commanded" instead of pointing towards a device and click it...google it...there are tons of pages..
siminum, 31 Aug 2017here you go.. the only devices with a IR port in 2017 are: Xiaomi Redmi 4a Xiaomi Redmi 4X ... moreAgreed. But what is the logic for containing IR blaster will not considered as worlds best product?
I am very disappointed I thought it will have IR blaster. A super smartphone but i really need that INFRARED sensor.
grizzle, 31 Aug 2017Complete bs. No IR blaster, and a non-removable battery. I've praised LG for years despite ... moreSame here. I'm still using a Galaxy S5 because I haven't found a modern phone with IP68 and an IR Blaster. Bonus for removable battery, microSD, and wireless charging. I've been ready to buy a new phone for over a year now, but I don't see any options.
