LG is copying Samsung. No more IR blaster, no more FM radio, no more second screen and no more removable battery in its flagship phone. It has also copied Samsung's stupid 18.5:9/2:1 NarrowView display and added waterproofing. All I can say is good luck LG. The V30 is going to have miserable sales volume compared to the V20 because it has lost many of its unique selling features over Samsung. The only thing left is the free cheap B&O earbuds and the claim to fame audiophile grade sound that frankly sounds mediocre if you don't install an equalizer app from Google Playstore. It's the same DAC found in the V20 so I know what to expect.
cjd, 01 Sep 2017Shame on You. No FM radio and Recording !!. FM radio is dead, no shame at all.
Limona, 01 Sep 2017And the streaming services like spotify, google music, etc. might not like it either...Pick the V20. A good profit in all senses.
Rimac , 01 Sep 2017I totally agree with you, but remember : is a very unpleasant feature to operators. And the streaming services like spotify, google music, etc. might not like it either...

I can't believe it doesn't have FM radio. I can accept the lack of IR blaster but this is strange. Every phone has FM transmitter and the earphones with 3.5 jack can be used as antenna. I still use this feature because it is more battery efficient and I don't have a lot of internet for streaming on my plan. Also I have favorite radio that I am listing every morning in the public transport. Also I like the LG radio app.

Back buttons were so operational and they left the frame buttonless and firm/strong

This is Worse flagship Front Camera: low mpx, low aperture and little sensor
siminum, 01 Sep 2017why would someone need your approval to buy/admire/respect what LG did?I don't know where you come from, but obviously you cannot understand (simple) English.
In my post, there are facts, and personal opinion. (As an owner of V10).
Should have post it here....
just great. I bought lg v10 more than a year ago. I am partially disabled and bought it because of the military standard rating. Well guess what? The screen cracked for unknown reason. It's tiny so no problem.
Then my Micro Sd card kept getting ejected the device. Since it's under warranty they repaired it and now I have other board with the same problem :(
Then I was returning the phone with is on a jelly case in a phone leather holster. Again this is my first accidentally drop from a wooden floor of 3 feet. I am 6 foot tall. 2 inch noticable crack. :(
BTW, no warranties on cracked screen :(
Only used for fb etc and no games. Experience is ok.
The removeable battery is ok. if there is a problem I can replace it quick. But why remove that portion? Plain greedy. After my lcd cracks, will replace it. But it will not be LG.
what the heck, 6inch screen at 3300mh batt. good only or 5hrs and look for batt again and again.. waste of money for v30.
No FM Radio
no second screen
Which V20 had
it's clear that it;s no longer a V series model.
I also miss back buttons. Do someone knows if there is an explanation for such mistake?
Anyway it is (as it seems) a good looking phone, but besides new specs (OLED, glass instead of plastic in lens, f1.6), i will pass due to all they removed, and because they put (as rumors say) "bad" camera sensors once again as they did in G6.
