I'm still using it as my first (and only, actually!) phone. It's unbeatable in terms of lightness for its size, you won't find another like it. The display is beautiful and has a very high resolution. The cameras are excellent in daylight, but not so good in low light, and sometimes it tends to veer towards green or other colors. The fluidity is fabulous, never a single hitch in all these years, and the touch screen is excellent. On the other hand, the battery is shockingly awful: it's been giving me problems since the beginning. I've tried to optimize it in every way, but I often found myself having to charge it 3-4 times a day, and I've also had major issues with call audio. I'm having trouble finding a replacement now that the battery is completely dead, but it's still an excellent phone, especially since it's very light and has an excellent display.

It will simply blow you away with performance bump it has over V40. I have used almost all LG V phones, V60 stands at the top the list. It is the best from LG before they left. Runs on Android 13.

Yes, the complete package are in your hand, when you have problem with it like me, due to my mistake dumn it in water to prove nothing , lastly i loose my, unlucky thing you cant find a device that can do all you need like lg v40 provive so i change it with same brand and model, only i take a secondhand around 100usd iam happy with it.. for me now the challenge only the Vivo x200 but the value, wow. Gap is away up. for now i stick to LG V40 as long the service are still suitable with what i need. That is what i experience with. Thank you.

My parents got this phone from Sprint sometime in 2018, and in 2021 they gave it to me. I still currently use this phone, heck, I'm using it to type this up. I have some mixed emotions with it. I love the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone, it always scans my finger perfectly every time and unlocks the phone pretty fast. Sometimes it randomly stops working though, but it usually fixes itself. Something I don't really like is that it came with Android 8, but I am stuck on Android 9 since Sprint never sent out the Android 10 update for this phone, so some apps are starting to not work right, and some refuse to work at all due to the age. But, this phone boots up really fast, and in all honesty is really snappy. I have 2 newer devices, and compared to the V40, the V40 is lightning fast. The V probably stands for velocity, heh.
At the end of the day, this phone was awesome In it's time, but in 2024, I definitely don't recommend you buy it.

I've been using lg v40 since 2019 march till now.
No problem at all.
Yesterday 21st july 2024 I've change battery.
Best phone I've ever used.
It's cameras are good display omg easily compete with latest iphone also sound quality on speaker and earphone awasome.
Can't find any smartphone to replace it on it's budget.
I wish LG could make phones.

Has anyone having trouble charging V40 on wireless charger or on cable charging, it takes me every 1 or 2 hrs to let the phone rest and fully charged again.
