I think since lg is stoping on smart phone i sudjest that they will have an software upfate to all lg phone to be come global version because most of the phone is in korean version even there apps its been useless because we dont know there language and some app are usable in there country...

After updating to Android 12, it is better to do factory reset to prevent unwanted bugs and for smooth and better performance. But first, back up anything that is important before doing reset.

updated my unit (korean unit) to android 12 last week n been testing it for a week now. no support for google assistant anymore hence the button below the volume button is useless now (not a deal breaker for me), can't keep some apps from self running in the background eg, fb (even though I've restricted it), the second screen doesn't registered any touch at all until i fully reset (factory reset) my unit and it's working like charms again.
apart from those mentioned here, everything else is super smooth n no hiccups yet. emulators running smoothly (even with AetherSX2). and i love the auto call recorder too. a big huge advantage over other phones.

I'm in Australia & just upped the v50S to Android 12, straight through from the original Android 9, a LG U+ Korea version - single handset. No issues whatsoever, all seems to be running smoothly and quite quickly. only thing is I don't yet seem to be able to rurn off Google Assistant, there's no '3 little dots' on the top right corner of the Google app screen now, but there was on Android 11. No screenshot button available, just volume down + power buttons together.

I own lg v50s Korean variant. I, several times, downgraded to 9.0 and then to 11 & 12 without any issue.
Procedure is simple, just download lg up software and any Korean 9.0 firmware of carrier lgu skt or kt .go to download mode and flash k kdz file as refurbished for clean installation.

If you are a gamer and using this phone i recommend not to update the android version because became lagger unlike the other brand of phone that they put a feature on gaming on ther new update to be more efficient sad to say that lg has not put that in this new update😑😑
