Raza, 13 Mar 2023How to download Themes for this model as LG Smart World is not working for this model.Just eot an LG G8X or an LG Velvet which already has lost of themes from a friend and then transfer all user data from your friend's Velvet or G8X using LG Mobile Switch app that can be downloaded from playstore. It takes hardly 3 to 4 mins and you will get all the themes on your friend's Velvet or G8X fully working on the V60.

Phone came out the same year as the s20 ultra and when the s20 ultra came out it couldn't even maintain 30 frames per second and it's camera app it was buggy as hell the Samsung Galaxy S 20 ultra cost more. Only had half the expandable storage inferior cameras and audio it was smaller yet heavier with no 32 bit quad Dec... yes the V60 is better than the Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra it even gets better battery life a 3-year-old phone than a brand new s22 Ultra LG was the best kept secret in Android and everybody is worse off but they are no longer in the game if you get this phone you will absolutely love it unless you are biased towards LG in some way it is the best phone I have ever owned and this is my third one because every other phone that I look to get is it cleared path to downgrade in some way

I just realized something: This is the only smartphone in the GSMArena database to use Cat22 LTE. Are there other phones with a similar LTE speed category like this one?

Pixel 5 uses the same SoC as the LG Velvet 5G, yet it doesn't have a headphone jack, AES active stylus support, and USB-C 3 with wired video output. iPhone SE (2020)? Not even looking at it.
TL;DR Keep the V60. It'll get an official Android 13 OS update.

So I just received my LG V60, I can tell a huge difference between the LG VELVET, the processor is faster and so as the wifi connection has a built wifi6 ax really fast.....

Before that i had some kz zsx terminators, but they were kinda bulky, cheap tho 30 dollar give or take.
All depends on the music you are going to hear everyday, then look for a heaphone that will bring those sounds and then keep in mind the audio quality as well. Using a dac to listen to mp3 is like using a ferrari on a mud rally.

If you want some wired headphones so you can use the quad dac then get you some beats with cords or some AKG headphones.
If you are looking for bt earbuds for 20 dollars you can get the redmi buds 3 lite. They are incredible!!
For a little more you can get some Galaxy Buds 2!

You mean to tell me your mind comes up with all this shit just in thinking about swapping out your phone? Wow I feel for you bra. If you want my opinion I'd say just get the damned thing. I've had the V60 now for about 3 months and had the v20 prior to that for almost 5 years. I'm a computer repair technician, and have been for over 30 years. Was in IT prior to being self-employed. So that should tell you right there it's a good phone. Aint no computer guru going to buy a crappy phone. I was impressed with the v20 when it came out and stayed with LG ever since. The cool thing about the "V" series is not a lot of people are even aware of the "v" series phones. I like that. Cuse not many other have one. I pride myself for not being just another sheep, just following others. Everyone flocks to Samsung. IDK why the do. I had a s8 for about 6 months in-between getting another v20 when my first one got ran over on a busy hi-way. I ended up just replacing the display then the motherboard on it myself and that one lasted me 5 years.And went through 2 run overs. The S8 didn't impress me which is why I only had it for 6 months. I went back to LG afterwards. I thought it was a well kept secret, these "V" series phones. Just my luck however, that they quit making phones. I know there other great phones out there, now I'm going to be force to have to change manufactures when this v60 starts to fall off. but at least I have a few years before that happens. just read all the reviews onhere, I haven't seen not one of them say the v60 is a piece of crap. Not one.

I use LG V60 from T-Mobile here in Canada and with Canadian provider and phone getting updates regularly. In same time, my previous V35 AT&T could be updated through LG PC software only.

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2023Definitely not the pixel 5 or iphone SE 2020. Basically, it's downgrading. Of course, it is not Pixel 5 which doesn't have card slot, 3.5 jack and DAC:) It is not iPhone with its 4.7" micro screen, no card slot and no DAC as well. LG V60 is great phone which can satisfy most people even in 2023.

I'm not sure why the ones you've tried aren't working, but try a standard PD one. Also, in my experience the maximum value accu battery will report while charging on this model is 3.6 amps. Still charges quick though.

In March or April of this year, it will recieve android 13. The last software update I recieved was a security update 25 days ago on February 8th, bringing the security patch level to January 2023 for both google play and android system. Mid 2022 the LG G8X received Android 12, totalling 3 major android version updates. I don't know where your assumption is coming from, but clearly they are still providing the promised updates.
