To some this phone up from the opinions and to what I have seen this phone miight as well be from the 80's cause it sure seems like it.
ok hi, better than U900,but try to avoid the long antena it's some how ugly,in another part it seems practical
This is terrible lets hope the status goes from coming soon to cancelled, save lg the shame of releasing this crap.
This phone sucks is expensive and has got antena lo to long is demodetet the mp3 what his got the sound is not ok and the pictures looks like you take with telefone with vga camera
Looks like a sharp phone. As stated before it could use more features though.
Video Telephonie, the Mega pixel for the camera could be improved too.
its a very good phone but i feel that there should be some more features added in it....
forgot a few things things:
1) lg u900 has built in hands free while the v9000 lacks that.
2) i think the lg v9000 costs around $250 while the lg u900 costs around $230 (you might want to do some more research if you want to be dead accurate)
3) a more recent picture of the lg u900 phone can be found at:
http://www.hwsw.hu/kepek/hirek/2006/03/lg_u900.jpg (no, its not the v9000... you'll notice if you observe more carefully)
4) the lg v9000 only comes in silver while the lg u900 comes in black aswell.
5) hope the iformation helped you
6) i am only doing this just to let everyone know that there are similar phones out there that are better and have more features without people having to be ripped off.
hmmm... seems like it closely resembles the lg u900. is it just me or are they slightly similar? take a look for yourself and post your opinion. the only difference is that the lg u900 has more features and has the intenna built into it. also they've switched the TV button to an OK button which makes it look better. another difference is that the LG U900 has a DVB-H TV receiver while the LG V9000 uses the T-DMB.
and according to Wikipedia: Like DAB, T-DMB is made for transmissions on radio frequency bands band III (VHF) and L (UHF), mainly for terrestrial and satellite, respectively. Because the United States has so far failed to allocate these two bands as most of the rest of the world has, DMB is still unavailable there (i think that means that the tv would be of no use for the US). BUT the LG U900 works differently so i think it would be ok there. if there is anything wrong with whats above feel free to correct it.
Stylish phone good looking futurastic you can say excillent features i want to take it as early as possible

i've been looking for this phone everywhere! i was released in korea december 2005, and i can't wait until it comes out in the US! yipee! does anyone know the release date?
it luks some wat bulky, and they did not tell is it a touch screen or not,it should b other wise no use,and an anttena it does not luk gud plz cut it.
I wish this was a Windows Mobile based device! Would love to see "I-Mate SP6m" in this form factor... with a built in FM radio, Multimedia Player, Tv Tuner (operator independent) and an option to load office applications... Now that would be true utilization of such an amazing design. Good Job on designing... too bad it has been designed only for such a limited market. What a waste!
this is the first phone with tdmb. we will watch any show whenever we want whereever we want. but i'm a bit confused. why they didn't include wlan on this phone. tdmb is the nearest big revolution. i think the producers dont want to reduce their revenues by letting user with free connection with wlan
