I am not able to set any type of lockscreen (pin,password,pattern, fingerprint) after the update to Android 11. I used to have fingerprint lock before but after I removed it, it is not letting me add it again. Password and pattern locks are not getting added either. Anyone else facing this issue?
In order to replicate, you need to remove your existing lock, and then try to re-add it. Please assist if you know the fix.

JM, 16 Dec 2021Do not update to 11. Stick to 10. Video recording is a mess. Gallery app a mess. Android 11 update on any LG phone is a mess. We should avoid it at all costs.

DGG, 15 Jan 2022Be aware people that LG is no longer in the phone business. They quit and left the LG Wing pu... moreI knew LG Wing's fate from the very beginning, hence avoided purchasing one. Rather I have two LG G8X's with Dual Screen cases slapped in, and is undoubtly a more practical design. And then the cases are removable which gives you high flexibility of using as you want.
More over G8X just a more powerful phone with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 at its helm, hence the phone is a very capable performer even with dual screens. Presence of QuadDAC and 3.5mm audio jack makes the deal even more sweeter.

Be aware people that LG is no longer in the phone business. They quit and left the LG Wing purchasers with no new development and a very flawed LG Wing phone that needed more developers to design SW for that 2nd half-screen. Now no developers are supporting it or plan to that I know of. It's a dead design and LG isn't going to be making any more phones or updates to the Wing. I have one and while it has some good features, it's just an uncompleted model that now will never get any software developers supporting it or its screens. DONT BUY AN LG WING! LG IS NO LONGER MAKING PHONES!

i use lg android phones since 2009. lg gw620 was the first smartphone on market with android 1.5. later i bought optimus one(2012), g2(2014), v10(2016), v20(2018).
now i have lg wing (2020) and this will be my last lg phone for sure. it means end of era for lots of people. thanks lg for the great innoviation and great devices.

This phone's display is a fine example that you can achieve a very high screen-to-body ratio without resorting to any notches or holes. If this was the main design of today's smartphones, I'd be super happy.

Finally received an Android 11 today, and dayum, they have really done it now. Starting the swivel mode used to take me like 2-3 sec (turning on the bottom screen, rotating both screens etc), but now with 11 its instant. Now thats impressive and very welcome (the slow swivel mode was the only annoyance i ever had).
