HTC Android Verizon Touch UI Rumors

We have some blurry photos of two unannounced HTC droids for you. The first one is a GSM device looking just like the original Desire but for the touch-sensitive keys, while the other one is Verizon-branded and has a back plate similar to the Droid Incredible.

Do you remember those leaked HTC mockups from a few days ago? If you had any doubts they're not real, here are some pictures to prove you wrong.

The first handset has the same design as the original HTC Desire, but replaces the hardware buttons on its face with touch-sensitive keys. It runs on Android with the usual HTC Sense UI on top.

The Desire-like droid

The other leaked device is CDMA-loving and is obviously headed to Verizon. That one was also among the HTC handsets that leaked previously.

The CDMA droid

We know nothing about the specs of the two leaked smartphones so far but the upcoming MWC should shed some light on them.

On a side note we would appreciate some new designs from HTC. The rounded metal bodies were great the first few times, but now they are decidedly getting boring.

I'm getting sick of all the new HTC's coming out with capacitive menu/home etc buttons. I have a desire, and it is nice to have a couple of real buttons to press.
