Sony Ericsson

The Swedish manufacturer has just unveiled four new budget models. The four new bar-shaped mobiles are meant to be used with ease and "simplicity and user-freindliness" is their moto.

The Sony Ericsson K200 would feature a VGA camera, 2MB of integrated memory, and would be equipped with a 65K colors CSTN display with a resolution of 128x128 pixels. As far as connectivity is concerned it would have a two-band GSM/GPRS support and an Infrared port. It will have a 65K colors STN display and a memory for 200 phone numbers. Its battery would allow it to offer up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 400 hours of standby. The Sony Ericsson J120 will have pretty much the same design except that it will be offered only in black. As far as specs go, it would feature a FM radio with RDS. It's nice to know that Sony Ericsson decided to manufacture budget phones. But I think Nokia still stands out when it comes to making budget phones since the generation of monochrome screened phones.
