This phone company is absolute garbage. Honestly, I believe this phone company is a scam. How can a phone be this bad? I don't even have the smart phone. I have the vice 4G. It barely works, no storage space for Messages. Half the time it doesn't receive any MMS messages and that ticks me off. Honestly, I would not recommend this brand for anybody who wants any type of phone. On top of that I believe this is a scam because there's no customer service for Max West despite there being a phone number. On top of that, the spelling mistakes that are on the actual phone itself are unbelievable. For example "flip to hand up" when it should be "flip to hang up". As well, The calling feature on the phone barely works. Half the time people say they try to call me but it doesn't come up on my call log list. Nor, can I make an outgoing call. Phone is not worth it. You have a better chance of going back to 1980's style brick phone and that being successful as opposed to going with a max West phone. 0 out of 10 rating.

I only dropped it 3 Times and on the third time a black spot appeared then multiple appeared and it only fell under 2 feet, also my Motorola has been dropped more times than that and still doesn't even have a scratch 1 Star

I don't really have anything bad to say about the maxwest nitro 5 mine's been working fine since day one so I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones that got up an actual good phone

This is absolutely the WORST cellphone I have ever owned! After two months, it refuses to charge. On the RARE occasion it does take a charge, I can't get it to make calls or even texts. A highlighted area pips up stating there is no mobile network available! Yay for me! The company refuses to fix or switch out for a newer one. All they've done is send new SIM 'cards ... Which does absolutely nothing!

They suck i wouldn't waist China's money on one, if you see a maxwest phone place it back down on the counter and walk away

Got a Nitro N62 phone through Lifeline.
Phone works great except the battery won't last.
Can't find the battery online, can't find it for sale on Maxwest website. Maxwest Telecom is not responding to my inquiries.
This company is not better Business Bureau accredited, andv have complaints against them on BBB.

Worse phone I ever had. Lasted approx. 4 weeks. Battery was no good. Overheated & took all day to charge. .i dropped it one time. Not even hard & big chunks started falling off of it. It was a POS. Don't waste ur money.

I have a maxwell nitro 5p phone for about two weeks now, when I first bought it I could only call a few people, now I can't call anyone and they can't call me.

Anytime I am talking to someone on the fon the person always hears a repetition of his voice . Always echoing back wt the person has said ,very irritating. Is there a setting I can adjust to stop that.

Absolutely no phone support from tech team. Had issues with downloaded apps, as the whole phone is app based, has to download everything, no photo gallery have to download Google pic app, have to download Google 1 to get any information off old phone. Wow. Like old 90's phones.

Purchase at your own PERIL! This model is a year 1900 version.
Also dont bother calling customer service as they will not return calls.
To save yourself time if you do in fact buy this phone just be ready to return the phone with in the store warranty time frame.
