Meizu Android Rumors

Meizu is having a press conference in just two days, where it is expected to pull the wraps off its next Blue Charm devices. The Blue Charm is an affordable lineup of droids, known outside China as Meizu m-series.

Now Meizu is prepping the next generation Blue Charm, rumored as Blue Charm Metal. The device leaked online five days ago. But while we are just hours away of its premiere, the OppoMart retailer have already listed it online and spilled the beans on its specs.

The Meizu Metal will pack a 5.5" 1080p display and run on the MediaTek Helio X10 chip with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Other notable specs of the Meizu Metal are a 13MP main camera and a front 5MP snapper, 16 or 32 GB storage, LTE connectivity, and a 3,050 mAh battery. Naturally it will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme launcher.

OppoMart's announced price is $249, but this may as well change post the official announcement. Anyway, the event is happening on October 21, just two days from today.

Yes. A Flyme version for international users would be great along with US LTE bands and I would be all over it. I have an M2 Note and after working a few bugs out, it is very smooth and reliable with great battery life. I can get by with HSPA+ for ...
