I installed it today, and it made a world of differense when it comes to frequencies available etc.

BTW, you can use google chrome and visit meizu chinese website and translate to English. Then go to firmware section and download public version of the firmware. Public or internation version rom contains A at the end of the version Code. Chinese version contains C. Let me know if you need any other support.

From where did you download the international ROM? I just received mine and I am very impressed so far but any feedback from me is irrelevant since I just received the phone few hours earlier.

I have no idea about gearbest but you may order from aliexpress. My phone is chinese version but I installed International version's ROM on which 3g works perfectly. Let me know if you face any issue :)

And also the resolution/sound qualityI'm 85% satisfied with the camera quality, Camera is not outstanding but good enough to compete with high end mobiles!! :) Sound quality is perfect :) Pretty Loud so you won't miss any call for sure. Although little lack of bass other than that no complain :)

AnonD-424321, 10 Aug 2015How is the battery ? Heating issue any ?? How much you use your phone ?? Actually I need to us... more1. Battery Backup seems Good! You should be able to use 12 hours with a single charge for sure! For moderate use it will last 24 hours I guess.
2. For normal browsing or chatting phone won't heat but playing games, installing apps phone get heats on the top part but again that much heat won't be annoying.
3. My friend brought this phone from China Meizu Showroom :)
