Anonymous, 01 Aug 2017No it's not. In fact, even SD810 beat X30 most of the time in real life performance.Helio X20 can easily beat sd810.

Doesn't Matters, 12 Aug 2017the sensors and apertures used is important... not the mega pixels... even 8mp can capture... moreFor me, picture is to preserve memories for future. 12mp is way to low for future device. May argue that it is enough for prints. Will for my and older generations with degrading eye sights we prefer to see our photo on the big screen tv. Which currently the highest resolution is 4k and ~8mp. But if I am taking pictures for the furture, I need it to look good for the 8k TVs so my son and grand son can stand in front of the TV and say grandpa looks good.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2017No it's not. In fact, even SD810 beat X30 most of the time in real life performance. That is one way to say a big fat lie. Do you know how snappy the 16nm Helio P20 is ?
10nm X30 will be much snappier.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2017No it's not. In fact, even SD810 beat X30 most of the time in real life performance. In fact even soc without any big cores run better IRL than 810 on most tasks (except maybe some game loading)...that includes helio P20 or qualcomm S625...

X20 with the same 20nm process is faster too...maybe you can find some apps that don't use the decacore properly, but most will (most incredible exemple is that Chrome doesn't use it properly, cortex A72 aren't used at all on it, when Chrome Dev/Beta/Canary are ok since many time)
X30 can be compared to 835 (except on 3d benchmarks)

xXENDER FREAKXx, 01 Aug 2017Emm no? Even if they have a "godlike" deca-core, the single core and mulit core scores in GEEK... moreYou must speak about results published un december...
That's pre-series!
As my X20 scores better, about 1550/4500 in 20nm, X30 on 10nm will give obviously better results...
According to A73 and 2.6ghz, I think single core will have between 2100 and 2200pts.
And as geekbench 4 seem to penalise high number of cores (compare to geekbench 3), I think about 6000pts.

Wait and see and forget scores of december!

Mark_S, 28 Jul 2017Mediatek MT6799 Helio X30. Great to see this finally introduced. Will have Snapdragon and Sams... moreEmm no? Even if they have a "godlike" deca-core, the single core and mulit core scores in GEEKBENCH 4 is lower than current high end chipsets. Are u sure they will shiver? Or is MEDIATEK scared of them that's why they released this chipset which is a disappointment in the single core and multi core since it is a deca-core and got beaten by QUALCOMM's high end octa-core SNAPDRAGON 835? SAMSUNG's octa-core EXYNOS 8895? Apple's QUAD-CORE A10?! Lol

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2017No SD Card slot? Not enough memory. Non-removable battery. No deal.I agreed with you, it does not support memory extension might be a drawback of this phone.
But may I know, nowadays which flagship mobile phone support removable battery?
Maybe you can let me know as I also looking for it.
Thanks....
