Does it have wi-fi hotspot ?? If yes, Have anyone used wi-fi hotspot on this phone ?? how is its speed, security / password protection / is it 128b encrypted ???

I am using this phablet for 10 days now and would like to give you the details of the same.
this is the first time I am using Micromax and experience is pleasant most of the times, except that sometime there is a lag while opening of appliations.
Facebook is preinstalled but even after updating it, it doesnt show the timeline.. It might be the problem with the ICS, as I have read others also facing the same.But anywayz, It is there in this phone.
It gives you internal memory of 2.73 GB and available Ram of 387 MB; of which generally 100 mb is free, even without any application opened. It has 1 Ghz Single core Scorpion ArMV7 processor. Camera is Just ok. Screen resolution is a lil problem, though you will harldly notice it while playing games or watchin video. Its a Dual Standby and NOT a dual active phone.
Touch, Music, looks, overall experience... better than expected.

Actually i also do the same before buying anything .. I do read the feedback and review of the product then only go out for the best deal. so same way it's my time to help others as well :)

I have been using this phone for a while.
The only problem is that while on a call, when I try to hear the other person calling me, the other person's voice is kind of crackly(Voice Breaking Up), the SOLUTION: I have to lower the volume one point down and then it's ok on low volume.
However while using ear phones, it seems to be fine. I am yet to check out a bluetooth option.
People pls let me know if anyone is having the same issue as well. Or is it just me. Thank you..

Ive been using this phone for quiet some time now and believe me its value for money. A major issue that i've witnessed is the lag. The screen responds well to touch, but due to low RAM, the applications tend to be a bit irresponsive. You nee dto kill the background processes every now and then to free up the RAM. I downloaded Task manager to find out the avilable and free RAM and was shocked to see that it showed only some total of 387 MB RAM with close to 90 MB available with no running apps in the background and Auto sync disabled. Otherwise this is good stuff with the price head it carries.. Youtube and other videos work great..
