the speaker of this phone has a
tendency to play some frequency at
a higher volume and some
frequencies at lower volume
specially the bass sound so the
song might sound strange as the
volume fluctuates. this is problem
all the mmx phones suffer with.

I am using this handsett from last 6 days I am happy with handsett But only one problum when I play HD songs valume goe's High & low again & again ... Can any one facing the same issue??? What is the solution for this issue??? It is settings issue or Handsett issue only ????

CAMERA - rear Specified as 12mp but in real it provides 5mp images with file size of 6mb
SOUND - Better use high quality headphones. when not using headphones sound fluctuates when set on 7 volume.
TORRENT - If you are a high torrent downloader, then you will be heavily disappointed. while using bit torrent or utorrent if your phone sleeps and locks then the download pauses and and you have to unlock the phone. then the message "bit torrent has stopped working" then you need to click "wait". it is really irritating. if you want to download from bit torrent or utorrent then you need to set "sleep after 30minutes" in display menu. then you got to touch the screen to avoid inactivity after about every 29 minutes.
GAMES - I started having problems with a game named as highway rider. it automatically stops while playing anytime. and i mean at ANYTIME. even after 2secs of launching. the game known as "vector" doesn't runs. these both games are of around 50mb. now I'm doubting about high graphics games like asphalt,NFS,etc.
BATTERY - Battery lasts for about 6 to 7 hours if you do gaming of about 1.30-2.00 hours. suddenly drops from 30% to 15% if you are gaming and dies after about 15mins if you are still gaming. though it takes around 3.45hours to completely charge.
BACK - Back is made of aluminium. feels really great. buts slips out of hand very quickly. Though the body is very light weight.
RATING - on paper 12 out of 10
in reality 6 out 10

I have purchased this (A117) 15 days back and now it suddenly not powering on I went to the service center thy told me to come after 15 to 16 days what is happening Please don't go for Micromax ever

AnonD-211225, 30 Nov 2013i too had the same problem, but i changed the handset under DOA but the replaced handset have ... moreyes i too hav given the cell for DOA...i think its manufacturing defect...But Magnus is Mindblowing...
