All MMX phones have very poor camera.........
First I purchased MMX A56...... It disappointed me...
very poor camera......
Later I checked higher models also... (did not purchased but tested colleagues phones and in stores)... the story is same....
So MMX A56 was my first and last MMX phone........
recently purchased Samsung again....

Lemme start by saying that I had my eyes on this one ever since the news of its launch was leaked. I have had a great experience with the Canvas series phones-The Canvas 1,2 and HD.So when an established vendor agreed to give me a discount of as less as even 200 bucks,I decided to buy it two days ago.Investing your hard earned money into a brand that is only establishing itself has its cons but I figured that its 12 mpx camera won't be worse than the 8mpx variants in micromax (which are very good).
I was horrified and almost on the verge of tears when I checked its quality. The indoor pics were so full of noise that I had no answers.The indoor video even in decent lighting was so horrible I had to recheck the resolution and settings time and time again.
I had this fear in my mind ever since I bought a canvas fun A 74 for my dad.Its 5 mpx camera was worse than a VGA(Is there anything worse?).I hypothesized that ever since the MMX phones started to come with the white logo below the camera,the quality has been compromised. They know that people blindly follow the specs where more mpx means better camera. Even the good reviews done by a few people on the internet are hilarious in retrospect.
I forfeited a sum of 1500 rupees after I begged the retailer to exchange the phone which had already been registered.It doesn't matter what phone I bought because I am not endorsing a particular brand here.I'm just trying to warn people who form the key demographic of MMX customers.....The middle class who want a little extra for less. I'm glad I got a relatively trouble free experience with the first generation of MMX phones but now I will avoid it like the plague.

He realy liked the looks of the phone n is quit hap... moreu can install clear master from play store it can help u for moving to apps from phone to sd but some pre-instald apps not moving to sd cads u can reboot the mobile with any technician unwanted apps can be deleted

I am using dis phone since last one month And i must say d experience is just awesome there is no lag in performance in heavy games display quality very good..camera is very good...battery life is good but decreases slightly on games but overall a smart buy. Just go for it...

I bought this mobile on Nov-5 from infibeam for 14150, one week after it came out. The phone has been consistently good and never given any problems yet.
There is always around 450 mb ram free so there is no lag whatsoever. About the heating, it does heat a bit when network or wifi is being used intensely, but it is also fair to say that the phone cools down very quickly as well...
Battery life is good enough for any purpose...i myself dont use the phone all the time, but i have noticed that, from a full charge to 100%, the phone maintains the charge as long as it is not disturbed... playing games etc discharges battery slightly quickly but if it is kept idle, then the "batterybot" reports that it could last even till 6 days :P...it should definitely last a day without problems on a continuous network connection...

Who have said you that MMX 117 is hving non removable battery? Have you seen that of your own eye? I cordially request you that please do not spread wrong information for one of the best mobile manufacture company of India. I request you to please go to shop and check your self and you will see that the device is having removable battery. So please think twice for next time before writing any reviews like that....
