You purchase any mobile of Micromax. After warranty any thing happens like software problem. Then you have to go to metro city. So don't by if you are not from metro. This was told by Micromax service center.

Hi everyone dont buy micromax canvas 5 E481 it is full of problamatic mobile full heating and hanging issues and battery is not good over draining and takes long time to charge.if once's the mobile charging comes to 0% it will shut down and does not work and even does not supports charging you must have to go Micromax service center. The service center people takes 30-40 days for battery boosting and they will charg u the amount of RS 700 for new battery .The service for this mobile is not good no replacement or no better software updates and solutions for this problem in the mobile.The service center people speaks very rashly to the Customer.If you want to go Micromax service center again and again with new problems then buy this Micromax 5 E481 Mobile and this will be best choice for u.
I bought this phone in april 2016. After 5 months usage i found this phone is good with the features in this price range. Camera is good. Battery backup is good(i use 3G net for Complete day along with 3G call and battery last for 12 to 14hrs. I have talked for more than an hour continously on 2G network without heating even phone doesn't heat while playing game for an hour. Both camera work nice. I liked this phone.

U damand for new handset againest defective handset . next time u face any problem then ask for replacement. If warranty expires Micromax & their so called service centers nothing hear . we pay money as per company prices so our right to get good products & also good service.
As per reviews of all friends 90% people faces major problems . I think this model is defective . So all users who faces major problems should demand for same new handset . Then Micromax come to know its biggest mistake. I think government should banned for selling such defective products of Micromax. If Micromax deny for replacement then we go to district consumer forum for replacement of new handset against defective handset . All.users easily prove this model is defective.
jaswant, 22 Sep 2016I have purchase mobile feb .its not work proprly .spair part are also not aveleble in care cen... morei am using this phone since last 10 months. i want to say that i have also problem of mic its got automatically mute.. but micromax online service is best they had give me replace ment of new handset. and its nice. for. 4G voice call. plese go seeting. sim management. and swith off and on the jio sim. its geeting started... and also u have download jio 4G voic app....
After care center changed the system software.. Not able to install update v22..(september edition)... It just shows "system update fail.. Any diagnosis.!!!

I had purchased a Micromax Canvas 5 mobile phone last month. I'm extremely disappointed that I had lost all my important photos and documents stored in my phone memory just a week after my purchase.
I see that my phone has been formatted and lost all data post this custom build update
mmx_e481_sw_v20_hw_v1.0_28062016, update stated that it would improve the battery performance and did not list out any other precautionary steps to be followed.
I've not received any response on reaching their online customer care executives over phone and Micromax service centres in person, I'm appalled by their refusal to offer help and their carelessness to understand my situation.
Now, I have received another build update mmx_e481_sw_v22_hw_v1.0_28062016 which promises to bring back the lost data!! Require your assistance in proceeding further with the update.

Am using 9 months this phone no faces issues ...... amazing mobile.... camera clarity was too aewsome and front cam also..... awesome perfomance .... i didnt get marshmellow update :-)
this phone is very bad and not good performance. company engineer is unprofessional and take the too much time. the company is speak if phone repair is taken 30 days then company give the extended warranty but company without inform to customer change the job sheet before 30days. very bad and cheap service provide by the company. dont purchase the micromax phone in your life.
