Rather buy Samsung S4 amazon is offering for the same price Rs.17999/- which had better screen size, camera, external memory slot, battery, and many other options, then why spend the same amount her with such a low specs. May be Micromax need to think in terms of pricing the device as per the specs.

First realise this is Micromax not iphone why people spend 17999/- on a phone where there has no card slot second quality of camera in case of micromax it's not less than 13 megapixel as quality of camera battery should be 2500 minimum.
I don't think much customer will pick this phone at this prize range.

Dont know what the techical team thinking, in this era of competition, phone has no card slot, battery is only 2000mah,and especially micromax need to work on their camera quality , there 8mp is no where with nokia and samsung 5mp
Need to work on this and have to lauch the updated version canvas 5 v2

The Specs are par low as compared to other sub 20K phones released in the market. The OS updates in the future are also not known. This is been he experience with the all Micromax phone line up.

Nice phone, but a liitle over priced, compared to other brands of its price range, Hopefully Micromax will extensively reduce the price after realising that its not popular as they anticipated.
