Buy 1GB 3G data pack, go to update and start updating when the app tells you that the update is available.
The product as of now (early November) is coming with Android KitKat out of the box. You would need to update to Lollipop yourself.

I did update my xpress 2 today. After update I am not able to view my contacts in my phone. Neither true caller is working. Can anyone suggest ways to resolve this?

Its me again. After upgrading to lollipop version my Micromax canvas Xpress2 E313 phone has too many problems. Speaker volume reduced, camera clarity reduced, no video calls facility, battery backup very low, a must app like Google plus is not there, unable to use Google play store as only a black screen appears when I open it, then the colour variation for dual Sim is not working. And so on. So if someone could please suggest, how to get back to kitkat version, it would help me out.

After upgrading to lollipop version my Micromax canvas Xpress2 E313 phone's speaker volume has reduced. Like wise it's interface too is no satisfactory to me. Kitkat was better. Can I get that back. Please reply.

Hi Every one,
I saw on this page sme of my frnz facing prbs after lolly pop updation (Just do it again with service center). Mu suggestion for all who wants upgrade lolly pop. Its really safe to upgrade at a authorized MMX service center as this updation is free of cost. Who ever wants to upgrade through OTA please use WiFi instead of mobile data (3g or 4g) as this is recommended by the company given instruction on OTA updation manual. If u are using mobile data (3g or 4g) then there is a chance of missing updation file due to fluctuation of network. Which wll occur a misbehaving cause fr the mobile. Use WiFi or broadband connection for updation with a good network coverage. But it is always recommended the system updation. So frm my point of view its safe with the service center. But after all, its about ur choice friends.

Just chk whether ur location is on or off. If it is on off the location, landscape mode, brightness keep it ass low, WiFi n Bluetooth make turned off. After all chk whether it drains like same or any changes. If it drains same then make it fully drain until ur mobile is not gng to short down automatically. Then put it for charge 10 to 12 hrs. After this also if U noticed any drainage issue like previous chk with MMx service center. Because U have warranty on the accessories too. They will suggest u wht to do. may be thy will replace the battery or replace the hand set with a new one. Also do the Lolly pop updation . It wll increase ur battery life a bit more.

If u want to use 32GB jst go fr class 10 type. Like Samsung EVO or EVO+. Its smooth. No issues. I already tested with Transcend 32GB class 10 with fully loaded 1080p n 720p videos, out of 4.9gb phone memory used fr 3.5gb, 4gb pen drive with OTG cable connected with my Xpress 2 on the same time. It works fine. No issues , no hangs, no heating issue I found. I used the same for near to one hour.

I updated my xpress2 to lolipop.... Gets charged quickly... But battery degrades soon... In just 15-20 minutes of normal usages.. Itcomes down to 100 from 90... I don't know whats the real issu... Should i get it updated again from mmx service centre again...???
