Micromax Android Announcement

Micromax unveiled its latest entry in the budget-oriented IN series with the IN 2C. The phone is a direct successor to last year’s Micromax IN 2b and carries a familiar look and specs alongside an INR 7,499 ($98) starting price.

Micromax IN 2c packs a 6.52-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch up top for its 5MP selfie cam just like its predecessor. The back features an 8MP main cam which is joined by a depth helper. Unisoc’s T610 chipset sits at the helm aided by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The phone runs a near-stock version of Android 11 and boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging speeds over USB-C.

Micromax IN 2c comes in Brown and Silver colors with a suggested retail price of INR 8,499 ($110) which is slashed to INR 7,499 ($98) a special introductory offer. Open sales in India start on May 1.

Before launching NEW phone, Micromax should have been confirm about how many of their earlier launched phones had received monthly security updates & OS updates on time!
