its my frst fone n i thnk i made a good choice.i hv snd arnd 120000 msgs(both sent & recievid) nd still dis fone zooms apart...very nice sound..bt the trckball is the negative point..i am fed up wid that thng..rest its an awesome fone..

SOURAV, 01 Jan 2012hey guys can you tell me that is the opera mini 6.5 download in micromax q5fb?I am using this phone and its awesome phone. Except trackball. But after 1 year I have changed my trackball from service center. You can install .jar file on your phone.You can follow these steps for many software:
Go to umnet.com
Select Mobile phone(Below Login button)
Select - Micromax Icon (just below Samsung)
Model - q5fb
In left tab - select Micromax q5fb apps: Java J2ME apps
You will see A lot of application is listed there
in many pages
Select any application
check Id of that software and select at top Download to phone
Click on m.umnet.com link
select - download by Id
Enter that application ID
click on go
It will download first that application and than will ask for installation
Select memory card for installation
and after installation you can enjoy a lot of application.............

Phone is good but its trackball gets unserviceable. I bought this phone in June 2010 and changed its track ball 3 times.

I'm using this phone. It's an awesome phone with maximum features. It helps us to access the internet upto high speed. Its quick and easy to handle. Battery is good, never gets heated up like Nokia or Samsung phones. What if Facebook Midlet Suite doesn't work? You have seperate applications for Facebook. You can even access it through Snaptu. Camera is good. I'm surprised none of you like the trackball. I've been using it for long and the trackball is too good. Has no problems. It is, of course, efficient.

I have been using this phone from the past 1 year and it's waste piece of shit. Better to go for Nokia, Sony or Samsung at this price. Only new in this is Qwerty keypad and trackball. Trackball after few days doesn;t work properly. There are no smileys while sending or receiving messages. FB midlet doesn;t work at all. very touch to handle. Waste of buying this phone. Cannot connect to internet thru pc.
