prabhat i have some questions to u ...
my only aim to buy this mobile is that it has 3.5 mm jack,dual sim & good battery backup...
i dont need internet & chatting.
my questions to u is that
1. does this mobile hang ???
2.is the battery back up bad ??
3.does the trackball gets damaged very easily.

Shanith, 25 Jul 2010Is the Q5 a dual standby phone? Could you receive msgs and calls at the same time from both sims?U can get msgs but if U have an active call on one sim the other is not reachable. After dialing a number U get an option to dial from sim 1 or sim 2.

I purchased a Q5fb on my birthday(21st June), and within a month or so, on 25th July, the display screen was white all of a sudden.I will contact the sales point, from where it was purchased(Telephone Shoppe-Off Tilak Road,Pune).This is very disheartening as this is my first mobile.

1.copy and paste the contents of the cd in ur laptop if not available download through micromax web site
2.open the pc suite from the folder copied
3.connect the usb to the laptop
4.select comport in phone
5.software gets installed automatically
6.open settings in pcsuite
7.select last tab8.select create new connection9.type in the following order,name:any name ,APN:the same apn that is in ur phone gprs settings ,number:*99#and leave the rest blank,save 10.dail up

zubair, 17 Jul 2010i can't download any files bigger than 1 mb it gives error tgat connection failed but sometime... moreFirst of all you use AIRTEL sim on your phone. Then dial *567*11# . Later internet settings msg will be come to your inbox. If the msg contains your phone does not support. Dont worry. Go to intermet/services option icon in your phone. Select settings option later profile-mobile office, select sim - airtel. Save these settings as default. And open homepage. Then install opera mini on java applications. First it will not install try three or more time
