Marco, 10 Mar 2015I like that this phone has very clear phone audio, whether on speaker phone or not. And I don... moreStop complaining about apps, most used apps are found in Store, check for Phone Update in Settings, two updates have been released to help with issue.
I like that this phone has very clear phone audio, whether on speaker phone or not. And I don't think it's by accident as Nokia has probably mastered this in the past two decades. Unfortunately, the like stops there.
It's disappointing, although I understand that the Windows store is relatively new, but the amount of apps is less than I expected. A lot of apps are premium (not free).
And whereas we may take for granted some of the apps in Google Play and Apps Store given the multitude of them, here you have have to mine the store better in order to do some tasks. For example, I thought watching HD movies is impossible in the 535 until I installed Moliplayer.
If you have sweaty hands, it will become somewhere between a chore and an effort to accomplish minor tasks on this phone. There will just be too much errors. I got an update on March 9, 2015 and I thought the error will be fixed, but unfortunately the problem is still there. I just hope that the touch issue is something that can be fixed by software, but I've already prepared myself to accept that it may be hardware.
I bought this phone on reviews that there is a minor touchscreen issue (Google it) or some have claimed that it's fixed by the December update. Take note: the issue is still there.
On days when your hands are extra dry, and the screen is clean, you'll actually have fun with this phone. But there will be hot days, when you're wife calls for something you know is important, and you can't even unlock the phone since there are "ghost presses" when entering your PIN (that you will actually see: "why is the 4 being pressed when my thumb is on 7?). For these days (and there will probably be a lot), you'll have to count down from 10 to 1 before acting on the impulse to throw the phone against your sandblasted wall (by the way, dropping the phone from 1 ft will cause the back cover to pop, so throwing it against the wall will probably break the back cover - haven't tried it, the counting backwards works for me).
Microsoft - please fix. Please?
