I'm thinking the model in the shop you visited was faulty or just worn from all the people being aggressive with it, You'd be surprised how rough shoppers are with tester models. All the best.

The display drain the battery 75 % of the battery is consume by the battery.
how to solve battery problem
1. use white background
2. reduce the screen brightness to 0%
3. On battery saver
sunlight visibility is still good
The only problem with this phone is the camera,

Check the download policy in settings,it might be set not to download apps on mobile data.

I just bought Microsoft Lumia 550 LTE. Unfortunately, I can't download anything. Every app I try to download doesn't go further 0% and it just says it's pending. Same thing with Windows update. What is wrong?

Ok....my opinion about this phone.... Software is amazing just catch the windows 10 anniversary update and it will improve every thing .... Material quality look amazing ( screen resolution,internal speaker and back ) ... Back camera looks very good the front is fine .... This device isn't so fast but it works fine ... Battery i will give it 6\10 .... And as usual Microsoft attached the same bored accessories ( headphones 🎧 and charger ) ..... I really do love the size of the device and the sound quality in phone calls ...that's it ^_^
