Aadrian , 23 Jan 2016Anybody using continuum? It comes with a free dock in the box in many markets. Is it really as... moreIt is really that easy. I'd gotten so comfortable using it that I had forgotten that I was using it instead of my desktop. What I had done was temporarily connected it to my desktops monitor and forgot it until my roommate started to use the the computer and didn't realize he was using my phone instead. The wireless works well also.
basushaunak, 24 Jan 2016Pretty amusing... I use hardly 20 of those so called apps not on a daily basis - but EVER. But... moreYou may want to recheck. there are alternative email apps in the windows store for the lumia 950 and 950XL.
RationalGuy, 22 Jan 2016Hate comments from gaming kids who use phone for playing games and sending shit over snapchat.... morePretty amusing... I use hardly 20 of those so called apps not on a daily basis - but EVER. But... some ommissions on M$ which many claim as a 'Work phone' and Android as a 'Play/ Kids phone' [BTW remember how that went down with BB?].
1. In a work phone - why there is no unified inbox for mail accounts?
2. Why is there no mail client alternative on Windows Store?
3. Why is there no decent alternative browser to IE on Windows Store?
4. Why it takes ages to open Whatsapp (Which contrary to popular belief, now a lot of people use for WORK).
I believe you should first start using the phone as a daily driver for work before commenting. I was using a Windows 8.1 phone and now have stopped using it becasue of above 4 issues....
I actually want this Phone! Android phones are so over rated, no need to have those crappy and buggy apps.
Anybody using continuum? It comes with a free dock in the box in many markets. Is it really as easy as they say? The Lumia 950 XL seems to sell better than the normal 950, or at least it seems to have more interest from people. Maybe because of the free dock and easy use of continuum? Still doubting to purchase a 950 as I'm pretty satisfied with my Lumia 930 still after 1,5 years.
Windows Phone is secure and fast. All apps I want and need available. I have a google free life, I use nothing from the childish company google. Windows OS all the way, Windows Phones all the way. If you don't like the OS, stop crying about it or actually use it for a change instead of typing rubbish. Or else go the search engine company google to give permission to sell your data in return for a laggy operating system and a one year old phone that is still running an outdated android version without any hope for a software upgrade. With Windows Phone and Windows mobile 10 you're at least getting an update, even if you're rocking a 3 year old Lumia 520. Greetings.
Geo 46, 22 Jan 2016Ya..dude absolutely right.. Lagdroid fans r crying about those fancy apps in play store.. And ... moreWhy are you saying lagdroid? Are you better than Google? Man, learn something before you shed your shit here. People buy what they are comfortable with, what they want, what they can afford. They don't need your garbage blabbing before their purchase. I don't know from where you learnt this hate attitude for a user that don't use Microsoft. When will you understand, it's their money their choice what they want, not your opinion.

But windows store has all the essential apps.. Each month that app gap is reducing.. 600000 and counting...
Hate comments from gaming kids who use phone for playing games and sending shit over snapchat.Windows Phone is a working phone and in that segment its amazing i have all the apps i need and power to do what i need. And to be honest all you iOS and Android Guys...how many of those 100000000000000000000000000000000000 apps you use daily.
over and out.
I had that phone for like a week. I played a little with that phone and I like it. Then only SMALL problem is that Microsoft have issues with Verizon, they didn;t get an agreement, and Microsoft/Lumia didn't open the band (I guess) to work with Verizon. The only ones affected are the ones we want that phone. I still have 1.5 years to go in my contract with verizon, That's why I bought it from the microsoft store online unlocked. Unfortunatelly I had to return it two weeks after because activate it in Verizon.
I have an issue when I plug the fast charger that comes with my lumia 950xl to the phone the screen comes on and it makes the charging sound even when I have not connected the charger to a power source. Just want to know it that is how the charger was designed.
IT is running on preview wait for full version then see the power of lumia
Karthics123, 20 Jan 2016Thank you for ur information. I saw that video... I'm going to buy lumia 950 XL...Dont buy, wait by march prices down to 500$ and MS 10 be updated. Its looks are as a cheap mid range, than Flagship. 810 is my tease, as already even chinese have shifted to 820 chip. Maybe 1550 Lumia be a table turner.
Your comment below has cleared my doubts about you having a lumia 950(xl). Lumia 950 xl can do all of the stuff you mentioned here, you can even connect the phone to a HDMI monitor an enjoy a PC-like experience and do even more with your phone.
Please I am not here to compare one phone to another (remember this forum is for lumia 950 xl) rather I am here share my experience and also to teach other users who may have one difficulty or the other in understanding or operating their phone, and sometimes to share the latest about the device.
If you don't like a lumia device no qualms, just move ahead to another forum.
