This phone has all the features I wanted & Microsoft is a brand I can trust for quality. However, the marketing & logistic seems to be lagging. Unlike Apple & Samsung, we get a specific date as when each market will get to have a hand on the phone. This phone has been annouced in Oct 15, to date, not a word on the availability from local Microsoft website. Very poor market handling.
It's still Nokia not Microsoft, only the software is Microsoft, the Phone is still Nokia, hardware, everything is Nokia, Microsoft only bought it. Camera is nokia
AnonD-465113, 12 Nov 2015Does this phone supports flac audio file?? If yes then I'm ready to buy this phone..Yes mate. Im on Windows phone 10 technical preview on my 930 and can play flac files with the new native music app, which has hard a major overhaul and can finally create playlists!
Do you have SAR ratings?
Your specs don't mention "super sensitive touch" display, which allows using the phone with ordinary gloves or nearly any object. Also, forgot about Cortana!
BTW, Microsoft store's specs for Lumia 950 show Gorilla Glass 4 for it:

ritchie, 10 Nov 2015Does this phone come with IR blaster if not iPhone and android or Samsung users will remain th... moreWhat is an IR blaster? I'll tell you it's gimmick. I once had a note 3, the IR blaster was not comfortable to use. All my appliances have remote controls and they are easier to use than an IR blaster, because they have hardware keys, unlike an IR blaster which is a touch screen, you have to be careful not to hit the wrong button. I found out that, most of the time I use the IR blaster, it is simply because I want to feel like it is useful, not because I am missing a remote control. Truthfully nothing beats the original remote control of an appliance. It much easier to use. My TV uses a magic remote, why will I use an IR blaster?
ritchie, 10 Nov 2015Does this phone come with IR blaster if not iPhone and android or Samsung users will remain th... moreso apparently because you use your phone to control things in home, it's deal breaker for you..........different folks different strokes
Guys help me here. This phone specs says it can be used as a laptop. I want to use it to make spreadsheets and word documents beside other things using the Microsoft continuum with the available Microsoft Display Doc. Can I? it also says it has only document viewer! If I can not edit a spreadsheet or word document, then probably can not even produce one?????
I hope I can!!!!

Sebastian, 08 Nov 2015Awesome Specs, Horrible Marketplace, how is the 3GB Ram usefull when the apps given can be run... moreIf an app uses 1Gb of RAM... It is a VERY badly programmed app. Hell, most PC programs don't need 1Gb of RAM.
Does this phone come with IR blaster if not iPhone and android or Samsung users will remain their phone as Ir that core function to control ur tv ac practical all wireless devices in ur house cannot be done if u do not have a ir blaster
the best camera in a phone, I have just seen images form this phone and they are amazing!!
I have been using iPhone for more than a year and have never planned to switch, because iPhones are just superior. I still use other Android and windows phones alongside my iPhone. Lumia 1020 was my first windows phone which was running windows 8 not 8.1. I got it for just $180 unlocked in great condition, because they don't have a good market and resale value. Other than its great camera, I didn't like anything about it. I tried to like it but I couldn't, so I gifted it to brother because couldn't resell it for the same price. I do like the windows UI, but the phone itself was just not that great. Then I used Lumia 928 for while. I bought it unlocked for $90 like new. It wasn't good either. Not only that the quality of apps was so inferior but the phone was just not that good. I sold it back for the same price and that after some efforts. I wanted to go back and check the windows 8.1. So, I got the Lumia 1520. I got a great deal for an unlocked one for just $180. It was a used phone in but it was like new. My experience with this phone was not bad. Although, the camera was not as great as 1020, it was more consistent in any other aspect. The screen and display were quite good. I liked the windows 8.1 a lot. It was snappy and fast although not as fast as my iPhone 6. I used it for a while but again just couldn't ditch my iPhone because of the huge app gap. My experience, whenever I used windows phone was like going back to 2010 because of extremely very poor quality and huge app gap on windows phone. A phone is not a smartphone unless it has great apps. So, I sold it back after weeks of try for just $220.
Now I am really looking forward to Lumia 950 xl. I will buy it after 3-4 months of release for $250 maximum when people start reselling their new phones, and I know the price will drop significantly.
