I really like the specifications of the phone but am little disapppointed with its removable battery.i believe it should have been more better if Microsoft makes it non removable.

Very impressed they have stayed with the poly carbonate body, respect to them. Just ask your self this question, how many motorcycle and bicycle helmets are made of this and why.

To better sell this phone they should be more clear about project ~astoria soon, otherwise can people just wait if it turn out any good, so it would mean low profit with this phone as with lumias in last years.

Use moliplayer to play all types of video formats including dual audio videos files also...

The 950xl is a very good one. The problem is to know were Micosoft is going? Do they will continue on smartphones Market? Do they need that others manufacturers start to implement the OS they have to smartphones? Eaven knowing they are goig to lauch the surface smartphone ( with sd820 or the intel one) we still dont know what they are going to do!!!! This is the problem that Mr Nadela put us on!!!!!!

Well, not exactly. They launched something called the bridge program. What it does is that it helps the app DEVELOPERS to quickly port over their apps from android or ios platform with minimal changes. They added an android sub-system which will help translate the operations in android to operations in windows. The case of ios is actually better, the ported app is actually more compatible.
Proof of this concept was candy crush saga (yes, it was missing from windows platform until recently). It's devs, King, used the ios bridge to port the ios version of their game over to windows platform, that too in a 'universal' app, which will work across all windows devices from mobiles to desktops.
TL;DR: It will make it easier for apps to jump in from ios and android

If I recall right, somebody tried playing mkv on the 950XL in the store and it was working fine. Either way, you do have VLC on windows platform ;) About whatsapp, it is available, so is spotify :) The whole "app gap" isn't as scary as some make it sound. What you can do is check the apps you actually need and search for them on the windows store. Worst case, if not the official app, you will find an awesome client for it :) Except for snapchat, they are useless piece of excreta. They blocked the client 6snap on windows platform.

Will it be possible on Wd10 OS ?

I am quite interested in this Phone, never had Windows 10 phone before.
- is it true that it will be able to run IOS and Android apps in the not too distant future?
- Windows 10 has no problems with mkv, and flash right? Whatsap...spotify etc?
Furthermore I am really interested in this because of the HDR Mics (useful in Parties :) or recording Music and video ......I will be grateful for the 4 Mics :D and still the Iphone 6S still has mono recording only... funny..
I hope it will hit the stores before december :)
although I am said... cause the 659$ is converted to 699 Euro... which is ridiculous

Microsoft said Lumia 950(xl) can support micro SD card external storage of 2TB, that is when maker of SD cards can make it available. However, I guess the reason GSM arena said it supports 200GB because it is the highest storage capacity available at the moment.
