Sadly, the Lumia 950 series are the pure example of good hardware powered by sub-par software

Yes it's a good phone. But you have to think that Microsoft is terminating the w10m system in 2019 and it's not like android or iphone, you will not find apps for everything. If you use the phone to work with office, to carry your data and have total control over data and syncronization I believe it's one of the better divices I've ever seen.

I have been an android man until I got hold of my Lumia 950 xl. At first I did find it difficult to navigate, after 1 day I got used to it an I love this phone. The mistake I had was that I was expecting the Lumia to be like the android and I believe most people do that is why I found it difficult to navigate.

Actually the most important things that made me buy this is haac mics(up to 145dB) better by 10dB than the rest, also price is lower than similarly specced androids. Also got 1020 before, still useful, great for low light zoom in, 38mp wallpapers. Kittens in 38Mp looks especially good. Would take Sony if it would come with even better camera and better mics. Camera is priority to me, but I got to say this insider thing, giving feedbacks got its own charm. Shame next device will be probably prices 999+.

Some apps are missing so I use also old android phone, but I like this integrity with everything in one place, syncd with desktop. Its like pixel or iphone, but as W10 user its for me better. Also mind that its more camera centric than rest of competitors with own OS(from apple, google) - it got big aperture &sensor size &4 haac mics &wide fov, great colors... Its still worthy opponent also considering price, but I guess not best overall performer anymore. I consider it kind of test phone for microsoft, but its great titanic for me, good enough to swim half/year until new flagship.

Une, 21 Aug 2017My phone spontaneously turns off, do you know anyone why? What problem I have :( Please help meei have the same problem before with my lumia 950xl, when i unlock the screen it turn off by it self. sometimes when phone on sleep double tape to wake up it suddenly turn black screen. i've changed the battery and the problem still present, i changed with another batter it works great now. no sudden turn off when i unlock it or when i use it. i guess the problem with the battery. i ordered batteries from amazon two pieces, one of them dose not fix the problem but the second did, i guess its matter of battery issue. good luck

I replace the new batteri it cost 36 euro and still same problem, the phone is shutting off no heating when its shutt, when it works work perfect but sometimes shutt down often im tired from this problem, i reset with a Hard reset ,stll same problem..i dont know what to do..i remove mini sd card i thought maybe its from there problem but no, mini sd its ok...

I have never used a stupid phone like this. battery is a joke....from morning till evening with very little use battery is drained...if i switch one app to another it will switch off, some times it will switches its on otherwise i have to remove the battery manually and connect to the charger.Cant predict its functions it ill do anything from restarting to getting froze. i am not a person to write reviews but if i am forced to do it. Never will buy anything from Microsoft, my contract will finish in November, cant wait for that. Bought this rubbish phone with huge expectation all in vain...I am not at all happy with this crap phone
