Its a flagship model... 950xl has 3.5ghz octa core Qualcomm chipset..3gb ram ..20mp Zeiss optics cam.. If u think 40000₹+ is huge then wat about xperia z5 n z5 premium (59k ₹)????... And if u r comparing 950xl with other cheap chinese lagdroid phones pls don't.. These cheap phone use cheap quality produces like mediatek /hisilicon chipset n mail gpu.. And a lagdroid phone with 8mp can't beat 730s 6.7mp Zeiss optics cam...lumia phones are quality products . Am using Lumia 520 for 3yrs.. No hardware and no software prblms.. I played asphalt 8(1.4gb) on ma 512mb ram device..works fine.. Can u name a 3yr old cheap lagdroid device with 512mb ram which can do this..??? Also i update ma device with w10 preview 10581 .. Works fine.. Now imagine w 10 on a 3.5ghz octa core ..3gb ram device..also 950xl comes with liquid cooling technology (1st time on a smartphone) the Qualcomm 810 chipset heats little more so microsoft installed this liquid cooling technique.. Even the 59k ₹ z5 premium doesn't have this.. Get some facts , throw u cheap lagdroid phone n use a premium flagship model phone .then comment..
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2015Will having the dual sim option have any sort of negative impact on the 950 XL?Why would it? It makes it better! Especially if you travel between the two same countries alot and need to switch Sim Cards. No fussing about taking off the cover and trying to find your other Sim Card that you just dropped under the plane seat! Just click,on the tiggle and you're in business!

Hope that clears that point up!
COS, 11 Nov 2015How does the dual SIM card work? I live in Canada but wok in China. Just hate to keep SIM card... moreYes... I have a Lumia 640 XL Dual Sim and I'm assuming the 950 XL will allow the same operation. That is, it offers you the choice as to which SIM card you would like as your priority (Sim 1) and what will be your 'reserve' (Sim 2). In the 640 XL you can choose which card is used for data (while still being able to use wifi whenever it's available), so, for example, because I work in Hungary I have my Hungarian Simcard set for data, calls and SMS, while my UK Virgin SIM is still set for phone calls and texts. In your address book it stores the contacts from each Sim, which you can link if you choose, and it even provides a little toggle switch next to the contacts number stating SIM 1 or sim 2, so you can choose which card to use, which is great. When I go back to England I change the UK Virgin card to use data and the Hungarian Telenor card I swap into Sim 2. It basically saves on all roaming data costs, unless you end up going somewhere other than where the two Simcards cover. But I do that too as I often go to Australia, so I just use an Australian Simcard there and the only hard part about it is that you have to take the cover and battery off and replace one of the other Simcards (no big deal)! So I really need a TRI Sim phone, but I don't see that happening too soon. Basically, it's fantastic if you do go abroad alot, or even if you just wanna make a quick call from the other Simcard - especially if you use Whatsapp which may store your second Simcard numbers as contacts. So when you're on wifi the second SIM just kicks in for Whatsapp! Great stuff! Hope that helped!

How does the dual SIM card work? I live in Canada but wok in China. Just hate to keep SIM cards and change them according which country I am in. Dual SIM phone like the Lumina 950 XL seams to be a good option. Only worried about getting some call form Canada while I am in China. Can I keep the SIM in the phone and just cancel its connectivity according which country I am in????
Thanks for help.
When it is going to be released in Asia? Desperately waiting to have it.
What Microsoft needs is a phone that looks different from the pc but still maintains a reasonable level of similarity and a lot of new features which maintains a different from that of the pc, nobody wants to move from a pic to a phone that operates exactly like a pc.
Both of these devices are highly anticipated. But yet they come out with a fairly simple, ugly design. Huge disappointment for me. For me I think Microsoft has the best Os. As much as we waited for them to come out with flagship phones, this is the best they could come up with. Really? I will be buying it because I need the latest and the greatest and I have zero patience for them to come out with something else next year. So I`ll take what I can get. But for all of you that do have patience I would wait. This is why they will always`s be playing third fiddle in the phone market. Always`s great phones but nothing that ever knocks it out of the park.
Excellent Phone... Just waiting for release in India now... Excellent Camera Hands Down...!!!
Extremely waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WIndows phone is going to be productivity gadget. It's simple, straight-forward yet professional. However it's not going to beat andriod and ios in term pleasure purposes. The interface aka start screen reminded us to PC. with no attactive fancy, colourful and minimalistic icon, its hard to attract young people to WP. Yes, WP fullfill smartphone purposes, but that's it.
vuhay, 06 Nov 2015Hello. 1520 is 4g supported. Just update the mobile. It works in Airtel and reliance jio 4gThe 4g bands in 1520 dont have the 4g bands offered in India by Airtel which is LTT 40 (2300) and Lte 3(1800). I have the Airtel 4g SIM card but doesn't give me 4g in 1520. 4g works in myk3 Note. Similarly the 4g doesn't work in my wife's iPhone 6, an imported model which is different from the Indian model which is compatible with the 4g bands of Airtel.
I'm not really sure how I can get to W10 now, but I hope microsoft projects- support for google apps,streaming,... will be soon. With corrupted Siri apple is out of question, and great Tizen from samsung not even started(btw no assistent there), of course there are nexus phones bendable and without surprises. Microsoft comes with sdslot, dualsim, removable+big battery,....and in 2 sizes. Camera is for them in the first place(unmatched audio recording, shot resolution, manual settings,..), then comes Cortana, sync with desktop, clever use of amoled, sensors in phone/band. Things I miss are more camera setting like hires panoramas,spherical,...and pen support of course. I expect more surprises coming in january, but this phone is for me worth more than note5/Z5P/... it just got all whats important.
apple2005, 05 Nov 2015Hi, I want to switch over from android phone to Windows phone seeing it's specs. Have you us... moreI have been using Nokia 1520 for two years as a business phone and I absolutely recommend windows phone and lumia phones for business. I do have also android tablet (Sony Xperia Z4) and phone (note 2). Android is good for play and entertainment but for real business: only windows and Lumia!!!!
apple2005, 05 Nov 2015Hi, I want to switch over from android phone to Windows phone seeing it's specs. Have you us... moreYes. Used Android before. Whats good about Android? The apps! A lot of apps. But u know u r not going to use them all. What's good bout windows phone? Simplicity. What I want they are all there.. Social..link accounts..the GPS thingy.. I don't know. I just preferred simplicity compare to fancy Android or iOS. With w10.. I believe it's gonna be elegant plus simple. My 2 cents.
