The Duo itself runs Android.

So this Duo device is made by Android and not microsoft !
All the nice people at Android will of course keep the Duo up to date with new software updates.....I think you find out that it will come with lots of windows software.
My android phone came with lots of preloaded windows software and it was not made by microsoft.

People tend to forget the big picture and start looking at minute details that don't have much relevance. As mentioned, the processor and RAM are just fine. You really wouldn't notice a difference with the 'latest' ones. The same goes with 5G. Also, the lack of 5G helps battery life, I imagine. We can see full reviews in a few days, anyway, so we'll see what users have to say about the battery capacity. As for NFC, it makes sense to not include it. Doing so would drive the price up and it's not a globally desired feature. The fingerprint reader seems cool. Hopefully, we'll get some good glimpses of its camera in action soon. The price seems as expected, especially for dual screens which are the whole point of the device. Throw in the Surface branding and design with its incredible thinness and one would wonder how or why they kept it at $1,400/1,500. Hopefully, it gets released outside the US soon.
