Microsoft posted a picture of a Surface device on the official Surface Instagram account. Except, it's not any of the existing Surface devices.
The image is low on details and doesn't show a lot of the device other than the hinge. It is believed that this is the upcoming Surface Book 2, that will feature an updated hinge design that will allow the display to lie flat on the keyboard unlike the existing Surface Book hinge that leaves a gap near the bottom of the display.
According to Windows Central, the image is from a Microsoft 'sizzler' reel meant to demonstrate some ideas for the Surface Book 2 and meant for employees.
The Surface Book 2 was expected to announce early next year but now could be coming before the end of this year.
Ah, the poor attempt at sarcasm. Something even moderately demanding like a game or something heavy like 3ds Max aren't supported on MacOS and then what? Overpriced hardware and too much show, too little go. I want a thin 'computer' that should look ...
Like what work? Net browsing and Office? Can you use 3D modeling in AutoCAD? Does it have a dedicated GPU? Can you run multiple demanding apps at the same time? The Book is 10 times more advanced than any Apple product.
Didn't you hear the news? You can do work in macOS as well. Mind blowing, right?! /s
