New ZTE Nubia Z9 images confirm extremely slim bezels

ZTE Android Rumors

It’s not the first time we’ve seen alleged live photos of the successor to the ZTE Nubia Z7 but a new batch has just popped up.

Sadly we didn't get any technical specs this time either. If you couldn’t tell that the home button is the distinctive Nubia red circle, the inscription on the back leaves no doubt about which family the device belongs to.

The front is all about the display with bezels brought to a minimum. Expect to hear marketing talk of "impressive screen-to-body ratio" upon launch. The reflections on the front hint that the glass is curved towards the edges, Galaxy Note 4 style.

It’s not all good though, the pictures show a far-from-perfect positioning of what is probably the power button at the top right which makes unlocking the device a two hand operation. Double-tap-to-wake wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Of course, as always, none of this is set in stone. The source also claims ZTE is running into technical difficulties, which delay manufacturing, so we’ll just have to wait around and see.

Good design but if the top and bottom bezels were also reduced then it would look nice, overall. At last, there's a entire series of phones for noobs.
