I agree this phone is a great phone and i agree the camera quality is absolute sh*te in anything less then bright sunlight. Why hasn't anyone brought up the topic of syncing? Wouldn't it be nice if the USB cable that the phone came with actually worked for most people? Many people and i have had problems with it but using a bluetooth dongle apparently fixes it.

The phone takes transflash memory which is the compact version of sd. So phone will only take transflash, but can put it in a converter, like sony memory stick to be read in other devices supporting sd cards

video call need gd lighting camera in order to see clearly ericsson is more brighter and clearer my a1000 is dam dark . therefore 3g phone really need gd camera lens

the camera is really poor poor poor but mp3 is really great esp in speaker mode better than any other brand. anyone know where to down load chinese sofeware

Love the phone, it's great and so easy to use. However there are two major problems:
1) The camera is rubbish unless there is daylight, for some unknown reason they didn't include a flash.
2) You have to turn the phone off and remove the battery to get to the memory card.
Motorola please sort it out!

Motorola will announce A1010, the successor of A1000 very soon. It has 2MP camera with 262K color screen, together with many other software improvement.

Bad battery life...resists only 30-40 hours.

Excellent phone. But I'm having problems with the rear camera. In dark environment the image gets like a tv with interference, with blue spots and stripes. Someone has any idea what is it?
