WHY is this user manual NOT in ENGLISH so I can download it?
Mine was destroyed, and I have spent the better part of the day trying to find user manual in ENGLISH, so I can permanently ERASE all 19 of my recordings!
Someone please help???
Is anyone from the United Stated using this phone because I inserted my SIM Card in this phone and could not get a signal. It reads no service when I attempt to make a call and the signal icon on the upper status/icon bar shows a red/circle with line crossed-out.
I opened the manual and on Page 16, second aragraph it reads; To make and receive calls you must be in an area where GSM 900 or 1800 service is available.....
I don't know if any of the Major Cellular Companies(ATT, T-Mobile - GSM 1900mhz and etc) in the US even run on these GSM Frequencies...
Crap phone. I dont see any kind of progress from the A1200 ( ming ) to this model expect for marginal upgrades. No wonder Moto went down to the dogs. If the company is alive today, it's because of Android.
I heard, Mono headset works with A1800 for a music!! Motorola seems to have tried making lots of efforts in this mobile to make useful one, but the CPU speed sucks!
The phone has different opration dealing with dual mode. I could switch between CDMA and GSM calls but I could not outside China
While the features are not bad, the performance of the features are quite disappointing.
1.camera too slow often out of focus macro mode for cards very sensitive - the A1200 was better.
2.reading the memory card also very slow, I tried many cards and compared to my older A1200.
3. sound not as clear as the A1200.
4. GPS system very difficult to use, while phone is chinese and english the GPS Navito s/w is found wanting. the hardware is slow.
5. I don't find solid support for this phone - disk supplied had incorrect drivers, no support for MAC OS that actually works.
6. Motorola won't support this phone fully. Motorola China is "supposed" to support this phone. I got no response.
7. handwriting recocnition average.
summary this phone is under powered while packed full of "features" none of them work smoothly or satifactorily, there is little support, actually I feel it really is a Motorola phone, I've bought four generations of A series PDA phones starting with A6188, I'll wont be buyig motorola in near future until the China design house change their attitude to customer.

why gsmarena doesnt talk abount number of sims a mobile can support?
No Wi-Fi, Motorola you are going DOWN! I hope they will make a phone for 2010 with 8MP camera, at least 600MHZ CPU with Symbian or Linux, 3.5 inch WVGA screen, and WI-FI ofcourse! I don't know what happened to Moto, they were good.
i put my memory card on this phone but i didnt see all my music and images
this phone is very/so ugly. The A1200 is way better, although it's an older model. DO NOT PURCHASE, PLEASE.
